"OMG! Cuteness overload in the cabin. It rained so we didn't really get to enjoy the trails but from what we say they are well maintained. Even though it rained we enjoyed being inside as well. Everything was thought of and provided even some snacks!!"

"From the moment we drove up to the property, we were so impressed with this very cute cabin. The kids were so excited to explore the vicinity and all were thrilled with the bunk beds and loft sleeping area! We spent our couple days at the beaches in Port Sanilac and Lexington and our evenings went by too quickly with the board games, movie nights and the outdoor fire pit where they enjoyed making some-mores! This cabin is already on our 2026 summer vacation agenda- just perfect for a great time...

"This was our annual girls trip. We have 7 in our group and the Anchor House had plenty of bedrooms and plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely view. We would definitely stay here again! Location was perfect!"

"Nobody all everything was as expected. No complaints. Cabin is not fancy but I knew that when I booked it and it's exactly what I expected. "Very relaxing place to stay. Nine of us from 18 years to 70 years, we all enjoyed walking around and visiting with the animals. The star of the show was certainly Tina, the goat. She visited the front porch often. If we weren’t there to give her immediate attention, she would often just relax in the chair till we got there. We also walked back to the water a couple times. Saw several deer and a bench to watch the water. Clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen for fixing meals. "
