"We had a very enjoyable 4 nights at Lind End Cottage. We were warmly greeted by Janet, who was very friendly. The cottage was clean and very well laid out with a wonderful view from the dining room.The bed was comfortable and a good shower plenty of hot water and at a decent pressure.On leaving Janet called in to see if were happy with everything and to chat about our bike rides and walking trips. Thank you again Janet for a lovely stay."

"The property is in a run down area. The outside of the property looked old and run down. HOWEVER, the staff were amazing. The property was very clean and spacious. Parking was limited"

"Third time at this beautiful home away from home. Lived up to expectations yet again, great communication from owner, ensured all our needs were met, we will be nack."

"Lovely cottage in central Windermere. The cottage is very close to the train station and central to all the shops and restaurants in Windermere. The cottage is very well appointed with lots of books and brochures about the area. We found this super helpful! Everything was super clean, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. We highly recommend this cottage for your vacation stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely stay despite the weather. Our second stay here and it's always good to know you have the pool as a back up plan to entertain the children if the weather is poor. Great walks from the front door. Comfy beds. Idyllic location."

"We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. Views over to Blencathra were stunning and offered us an ideal spot to just chill out especially after some walking in the hills.Difficult to tear yourself away but will definitely return."
