Was a nice clean place staff were friendly and not too far from beach and town center

If you are travelling South on the A19 and you want to have a sleepover without hunting about back roads, then The Windmill is a good option. It is reasonably priced and the attached restaurant serves a variety of food (many Italian dishes). The food and libations are not expensive. The Property has a huge car park.

It was pleasant enough. The staff we encountered were really friendly. The decor is a bit dated. Smelt a bit fusty … but it’s an old building so what do you expect. Lovely grounds. I struggled to sleep as the bed was too soft for me (personal preference). Not sure I’d stay again but did the job for the evening.
