"What a beautiful place. Sue was a fantastic communicator and texted me the details the day before to ensure an easy check in process. When we arrived, wow!! The outside of the property is like a post card idyllic. The inside was absolutely beautiful also. All original flooring with a modern twist. Room was clean, welcoming and just stunning. "Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful. "

"A lovely hotel with excellent staff. Located in the centre of the town. Car parking accross the road at a NCP car park. Not suitable for disabled people as lots of stairs and no lift. "For the price could not fault anything! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! Staff helpful and friendly. Had an issue with dinner but quickly resolved and given a complementary drink! Although we didn’t need to it was a lovely touch with the sign in the bathroom for complementary toiletries if you’d forgotten them. Towels soooo soft and choice of pillows for the bed."
