  • Relaxing under the tall pines Rowdy Rooster cabin sits in the beautiful park like setting of Kaniatobe Trails across the highway from Stevens Gap Road, which takes you to Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park. Within walking distance of several restaurants here in Hochatown. A newly converted garage to game room with doors that still open up to the outdoors, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay! No heat/air to the outdoor game room.

    A no pet cabin that sleeps 16 with 3 king bedrooms, and upstairs in the loft is another king bed, and a full futon sofa sleeper. The bunkroom has 2 bunks, queens on bottom and twins on top. There are two and a half bathrooms. A separate garage recently converted to a game room houses the pool table, ping pong table, game tables, a tv and microwave with seating.

    The retro kitchen is fun to cook in, and is already fully stocked with everything you need for creating meals at your cabin; utensils and bowls, pots and pans, bakeware, tableware, silverware, cups and glasses.

    On the back deck are a new propane grill and the large hot tub ready for some awesome hot tubbing, open to the trees and sky. And just down the steps and into the back yard is a fire ring with seating for amazing starry evenings. A horse shoe pit is in the back yard as well.
    Several restaurants are less than half a mile away.

    (If you think you might cancel last minute, I recommend looking into cancellation insurance or trip protection.)

The cabin was big enough for my group, hot tub was perfect, fire pit was awesome, and I had a great birthday weekend! Everyone has a place to sleep comfortably. Definitely recommend!

Family Christmas

Cute cabin for a family of 13 to all stay together. Loved the Christmas tree and the fully stocked kitchen, definitely recommend for a large group with kids.

Beautiful location with a beautiful cabin

Loved how spacious this cabin was. It accommodated our whole party of 10 very comfortably. The views and amenities were wonderful too! Can’t wait to go back here again! Highly recommend this place!

Thanksgiving at the Rowdy Rooster

We had a wonderful time. Lots to do and plenty of room. The kids stayed busy and entertained and the adults relaxed and enjoyed a peaceful getaway.

Great Location.

Location of cabin was perfect for our group. Only complaint we had, was there could be a radio in the extra garage space that had the pool table.

We really loved the house and the detached game room was perfect for our family of 7 teenagers. Host was quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again.

Great for a family group

The sleeping accommodations were perfect for use, we will able to sleep comfortably all in our family group. Almost everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. Plenty of things to do while at the cabin and it was very close to the parks and lake access as well as stores for the forgotten food items.

Relaxation at its best

We had the best time with friends. Many memories were made. Hot tub, campfires, grilling dinner, chilling on the porch, pool in the game room… so much to do without leaving the house.

Beautiful and Spacious

Property was even nicer and well stocked than advertised! It was very clear the property owners have taken every little bit of feedback and made this property 5 star! The kitchen was well stocked and very nice as was the rest of the cabin. The yard was very private and we felt relaxed the entire stay. Thank you!

Friends Getaway

This cabin was amazing! Very clean and exactly as the pictures showed. It was only a 7 minute walk to Greatful Head and across the street from Girls Gone Wine. It was relatively close to several cabins so it did feel a little bit like a neighborhood rather than a cabin in the woods. Otherwise it was amazing!

Didn’t want to leave!

My fiancé, myself and our closest friends/family celebrated a joint Bach weekend together at the cabin. It was beyond lovely!! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, the game room is so much fun, the fire pit and jacuzzi are awesome. We all slept great because the beds are super comfy. We had the best, most relaxing time and did not want the weekend to end! Already discussing when we can come back!

Exceeded expectations!

Cabin was absolutely perfect for my sons 16th birthday getaway with friends. Boys had an absolute blast in the game room! My only complaint which is extremely minor is that I wish the kitchen had more lighting. Other than that, everything was perfect!
