"We loved staying at this historical home away from home. The house is full of nice touches and antique furniture, large rooms and beautifully staged. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the rural get away from it all location, yet is just 90 minutes from Lexington. Gwen was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Very much a caring host. "

"This place was excellent. Very nice 2 bedroom with 3 beds, and 1 full bath upstairs and 1/2 bath downstairs. The shower was very nice. The towels were fantastic. The kitchen was perfect. The place is located near the town but on a decent back road that I didn’t have any concerns. "

"One of the best places I have stayed. Every detail thought of. The host has impeccable taste and it shows, from the awesome comfortable bedding to the robes and slippers provided in main bath and even a "just in case you forgot something" basket.
