Rockberry Apartment offers comfortable accomodation for two and a truly breathtaking uninterrupted panoramic view extending across the whole of Tor Bay to Portland (visability permitting).

Situated on the South West Coast path and literally yards from the sea, Rockberry is ideal for couples wanting an active holiday.

The apartment consists of a well equipped kitchen-living room, a quiet double bedroom and bathroom with a large separate shower. It is the top floor of a Victorian villa and is fully self contained. The helpful and friendly owners occupy the lower floors. There is free wi-fi available with this appartment.

Unusually for Brixham, a single, free off road parking space is available with this property.

This apartment is ideal for couples looking for a special place with a wonderful sea view to enjoy.


The Rockberry Apartment is a top floor flat of a Victorian villa. It is fully self contained and has it's own entrance via a 6 meter external spiral staircase.

Brixham is a picturesque fishing town set in an outstanding coastline. The town has a number of good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Dartmouth, Torquay, Totnes, the River Dart, the South Hams and Dartmoor are all easily accessible.

Rockberry is situated on the Shoalstone side of Brixham, a short walk past the harbour and marina from the centre of town. The Shoalstone sea water swimming pool is approximately 200 meters away. Breakwater Beach (swimming and scuba diving) is a couple of minutes walk away. Shoalstone beach (scuba and snorkelling) and Brixham Marina are also within a few minutes walk. Berry Head Country Park, a site of special scientific interest, with lovely walks and more fabulous views is a 10 minute walk away.



Brixham is an ideal location from which to enjoy an active holiday. Fishing, diving, swimming, sailling and boat charters, golf, and great walks are all easily available.

There are a number local regattas throughout the summer season. In addition there is the Brixham Heritage week, the Steam Fair and other local shows and fesitvals.

The apartment features a fitted kitchen with built in appliances including a four ring hob, full sized oven, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine and a separate microwave. There is dining seating for four people. The living area has a comfortable leather sofa, two comfortable chairs and a large wall mounted flat screen TV with a DVD player. The bedroom over looks a quiet garden area. It has a comfortable large double bed with a quality mattress, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a full sized bath and separate large shower.

Please note: We provide bed linen and tea towels but not towels for personal use.

Perfect base to enjoy exploration of Brixham & surrounding area

We enjoyed a week of glorious sunshine with a fresh breeze. Apartment clean & well equipped. Location excellent, 10 minute walk to the harbour in one direction, the other way the footpath leading to the pool and on to the coastal path & Berry Head. The spiral staircase did not cause any difficulties for a couple of over 70’s! The only disappointment was the cancellation of all boat trips due to the wind. Parking a bonus.

Lovely apartment with stunning views!

The property is a converted attic, with windows all along the side that faces the sea. The view across the bay is panoramic, and truly stunning.Kevan, the host, is really friendly and helpful, even offering to help carry our bags up the spiral stairs to the apartment.The apartment is very well equipped, and surprisingly spacious, particularly the kitchen/sitting area.Access to the wonderful town of Brixham, with its many bars and restaurants, is a 20-minute walk along the harbour front. We were fortunate to see dolphins there one morning.The apartment has off-road parking, which is a definite bonus, and getting to other parts of the area is really easy.We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Recommended! .

A top rated apartment

Lovely apartment, well stocked and with a fantastic view. It was warm and cosy and an easy walk into Brixham town. We took a couple of coastal walks directly from the apartment without having to drive anywhere.Our hosts were friendly and helpful.Be aware that the apartment is accessed by an external spiral staircase but it's well lit after dark. Off street parking is an added bonus!

Apartment with a view!

We loved our stay in Brixham and couldn't get enough of the view from the living area. The property has everything you need and more. We loved having the option of a bath and a shower and even with my fear of heights, I managed the external staircase! We enjoyed lots of walks and some cycling. Would recommend researching the route to Kingswear better than we did. Very beautiful but more challenging than we anticipated! We thoroughly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were in the area. The absolute highlight was seeing the seals on the harbour.

Wonderful place to unwind

We had a fantastic few days in Brixham, so glad we booked to stay here. The views are spectacular, even on a grey November day. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. Hot shower, comfortable bed, yards from the sea, Shoalstone pool (which had just closed for the winter but a few brave souls were in the sea) and the South West Coast Path. A bonus to have free off road parking. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Thank you Kevan and Gemma, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful location for a cheeky getaway!

Lovely apartment with everything you need. Gorgeous views across the harbour. Netflix and prime also provided for cosy night in. Harbour and marina approx 10 min walk. Lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble. Bed super comfy, it normally takes me ages to get a good sleep somewhere new, but not here! We would definately come again!

What a lovely apartment overlooking the Riviera , just sitting down to have a snack and looking out at the fishing trawlers coming was a pleasure. Just a few minutes from the beach and a few more to the town, well worth the trip.

The apartment is a spacious well equipped, beautiful self contained unit. Although the only access to the apartment is via a tall spiralled staircase at the rear of the building it is definitely worth the climb. It was like home from home with panoramic sea views and beautiful sunsets as a bonus. All facilities to cook and clean for yourself were provided. Everything you could want or need was in the apartment. The area was very peaceful and far enough from town to attract walkers or swimmers. Beautiful short walk with sea views into town, but if you should want or need the bus there is a stop very near the entrance of the property. Both Gemma and Kevan were fantastic hosts and we definitely will look forward to staying next year.
