Fantastic location in the harbour bowl

After a full refurbishment Quayside is being offered as a holiday cottage for the first time from the end of May 2021, it is ideally situated within a stones throw to the harbour, Golden Hind and local Restaurant’s.

The property benefits from three bedrooms, master bedroom with sea glimpses, 2 king & 1 twin bedroom all with smart televisions, two en-suites, and a family bathroom, Open plan lounge diner, kitchen and enclosed level rear garden.

Please note the top bedroom has a steeper than normal staircase and slightly narrower than modern standards and could be unsuitable for some young children or the elderly.

Very few houses in the harbour area have their own parking but the fantastic location of the house more than makes up for the parking. If you are just staying local you should not need your car very much.

When you arrive you can quickly pull in and unload just by the house outside Dilly Dally Café or The Coffin House.

Birthday Getaway

We had the most fantastic time, the house is just perfect, has everything you need and more, although no parking, we found it easy to unload and park the car in a back street at the top of the steps. The house is so central, that once the car is parked, you can walk everywhere or get the bus for the bus station, which we did to Dartmouth. Is this property is available you should run not walk to book it up.

Perfect location. Steep steps so a warning to those with reduced mobility!Fabulous property, beautifully decorated and furnished. Amazing hosts, welcome pack on arrival and Danielle and Jeff very kindly let my husband stay an additional evening with no extra cost. Will definitely be back!!

Quayside, Ostend Cottages, Brixham

We enjoyed a lovely week in this beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage. The cottage is well situated for all the amenities Brixham has to offer and although there is no parking with the property, there are plenty of places available within a ten minute walk. Hope to revisit soon.

Great House.

The house is lovely. Communication with Jeff is great. The location of the property is second to none. Negatives:- these apply specifically to us. If all of your party are able bodied then this is a fantastic rental. The house is not in the road, we thought it was , maybe our fault for assuming. To check in we had to stop at the bottom of a slope and unpack the car and then get our 88 year old Dad up the slope and then up a set of stairs. The bannister was not secure (although Jeff is now aware and says he will get it sorted). We did not know this and we would not have booked had we been aware, as once we were in the house it was difficult to get my Dad back about again. Therefore it restricted our movement. Jeff has said he will update the details though. Apart from this we had a lovely time, I had the top bedroom which was sheer luxury! The other 2 were on the first floor and looked lovely too. Beds were super comfortable. If your party can get up and down stairs I’d highly recommend.

Old boys trip

The property was very close to the harbour, which is why we chose it. Very modern, but homely as well. Was nice having two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and the showers were very modern and spacious.

This is a lovely, centrally-located Brixham property very close to the harbour.It is furnished to a high standard and the rooms are all very comfortable. The property is well equipped whilst shower and bathroom facilities are very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly book again if holidaying in Brixham.
