Originally transported to the island by barge before the bridge was built, it stands as a testament to a bygone era, having undergone thoughtful updates over the years while retaining its original character.

The location is simply unparalleled. Step out of your backyard and onto the white sandy shores and crystal-clear waters of the Pumicestone Passage. With only ten other properties on the entire island offering such a prime beachfront setting, you'll enjoy breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, watch the kids play on the beach from the comfort of your deck, or fish from your own backyard. The possibilities for relaxation and enjoyment are endless.

If you can tear yourself away from the stunning beaches, a short stroll will take you to the heart of Bongaree, where you'll find the Jetty, an array of shops, cafes, clubs, restaurants, parks, and scenic walking and biking tracks. Buckleys Hole, a haven for bird watchers, and vibrant weekend markets add to the array of local attractions.

The property provides a cozy retreat with all the essentials. Characterful and original finishes, including eighty-year-old light shades, create a warm, nostalgic ambiance. Unplug from technology and light a fire in the front yard’s fire pit, or teach the kids to cook over a camp oven and roast marshmallows. Enjoy a barbecue with the day's fresh catch, using the special Fisherman’s outdoor setup. When it’s time to come indoors, the cottage features three bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom offers a queen-size bed, TV, and air conditioning. The second bedroom has two single beds, while the third bedroom is equipped with a single bunk set. The bathroom, located a few steps down from the lounge room, includes a separate toilet, shower, vanity, and washing machine. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable living area with a sofa and TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a separate dining room with a breakfast bar overlooking the water.
