"Everything about our stay at this lovely place has been perfect. The house was so beautiful, neat, clean and the decor was so pretty! The view was so amazing that we enjoyed watching the fish jumping, the turtles popping up their heads and the ducks and geese on the water. The furniture and the bed were so comfortable. It is very highly rated and recommended. We loved being there!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cottage very much. Sunsets were beautiful (see photo) and accommodations were great. Only issue we had was the coffee maker was not advertised as a Keurig. Minor setback was quickly resolved with a visit to the local Walmart . "

"Perfect location for our entire family to come together and enjoy a vacation. This home is amazing, with everything we needed to make memories... plenty of dishes, everything for meal preparation, multiple refrigerators (18 people need a lot of groceries!) and lots of spaces for family members to gather and hang out. "We spent the weekend at this cottage and were able to host a graduation celebration for approximately 25. There was good space for accommodating a BBQ. Steve was very responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with needed items. Beautiful view of the lake! "

"Since we have kids in 3 states it’s challenging to get gifts home after our Christmas so about 5 years ago we decided to just pay for our family vacation and that would be everyone’s Christmas. Making memories and not having things that break or your outgrow. We had a lovely time at Lake James and hope to come back in 2 years "

"The property was as described in the listing. The host responded quickly to my questions. Our only complaint was the parking. We had a truck with a boat trailer behind and parking was very tight. The neighbors were very friendly."

"We had a great time staying in Emily’s lake house. Pictures portray it accurately. Inside of home has been completely renovated and is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Can’t beat the location right on the water. Short drive to Walmart, Meijer, Kohls among others. Nice choice of restaurants nearby. Snow lake connects to Lake James, and a few other Lakes. We spent time at the sandbar and went tubing. Would definitely stay here again! Kids kept asking if we could stay here again next year! "

"My family booked a last minute trip to Wall Lake and were delighted with the amazing property we stumbled into. The house is recently renovated with modern decor throughout. The patio overlooking the lake is perfect for enjoying a dinner near the water or watching the sunrise with a coffee in the morning. "The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't...

"We had an amazing stay at the lake house! The home is beautifully furnished and decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for and more! The beds were so comfortable with quality bedding. Everything in the house is quality, from the linens to the cookware and dishes. The quality and thoughtfulness carries out to the outside of the home as well. The deck seating is ample and comfortable and we made full use of the Blackstone for outdoor cooking, The kids had a blast on the beach building...

"Here for the week with children and grandchildren. The house is beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The best part was the "bunk room" for the grandchildren. [all eight of them] They could all stay in one room and had such a great time hanging out together. Communication with Kim was incredible! "We had such a wonderful time kayaking in hidden alcoves on the lake, cruising around on the pontoon boat, and enjoying a beautiful view while toasting marshmallows over the campfire. The house was beautiful, quiet, and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the inside temperature was wonderfully cool. The fridge had plenty of space. The bunk bed setup was absolutely charming. It was the perfect gathering place for a few friends and family to get together. We would definitely recomend this...

"Cute, quaint and comfortable, and fit the four of us. Loved the kayaks on the quiet lake. Great stop in Angola (hit the arts fest and farmers market). Friendly neighbors too with the cutest dogs. And Fort Wayne definitely worth a visit - especially Promenade Park!"
