We stayed as we were attending a wedding so didn’t really explore much but what we saw was very nice. Bedrooms were basic but this was obviously reflected in the price. "The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. "

"My one night stay at this hotel was ten out of ten . What it lacked from outside appearance was saved from smiling welcoming staff friendly locals. Great food both evening meal and breakfast. Sunday roast was HUGE. Everywhere was spotless . As a solo traveller felt very rekaxed. Well done to the Frocester. "

"Just DON’T. We were misled by pics and text - paid £102 for a shoebox room with minimal facilities and staff not overly helpful. We chose as it looked like they had a Greek restaurant plus steaks - turned up to be told they only do pizzas! We went somewhere else to eat. No breakfast as we are told the toaster isn’t working! Total joke of a place. Didn’t even give them any trade arms the bar. Never to return. "

"This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....
