The Space
Rope Cottage offers a central base to stay for exploring the traditional market town of Bridport. The cottage is arranged over three floors, on the ground floor you'll find a living room with wood burning stove and dining table to seat four. Also on the ground floor is the small kitchen and ground floor W.C. Up to the first floor is the twin bedroom and family shower room. In the loft room is the main bedroom with skylight window and King size bed. Please note, the stairs at the cottage are steep and the cottage is not suitable for children or those with mobility issues.
It is perfect for walkers and couples, right in the heart of Bridport with an eclectic mix of independent shops, cafes and galleries along with a popular twice weekly market and artisan food centre. Just a mile and a half away is the quaint harbour at West Bay.
Guest access
You can unload at the front of the property where there is 1 hour restricted parking. You can then move your car to a nearby residential street where you'll find on street parking, or a nearby metered car park, and you can then explore everywhere on foot for the duration of your stay.
Bedding and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Please take these directions with you for arrival.
From Dorchester on the A35, follow signs for town centre which will bring you along East Street. At the traffic lights in the centre of town, next to the Town Hall, go straight ahead onto West Street. At the bottom of West Street, go straight over the first mini roundabout. At the next mini roundabout, take the first turning towards Symmondsbury, onto West Allington. The property is in the centre of a row of three terraced houses, just before Rendalls Walk. There is parking outside the property for one hour to unload. If this is not available, please park in Park Road.
The key safe is located next to the back door of the cottage. To get to the back door, walk to the end of the row of cottages and turn left in to 'Provident Place'. Here you'll see the white back door to the cottage in front of you.
