"This was a lovely 2 night break for myself and my 11 year old son. The time of year was perfect for seeing the lambs in the fields right next to the hut and we enjoyed the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch steam railway too. The hut was more spacious than we imagined as well! Many thanks."

"Typisch britisch, kleines Cottage , gemütlich .Nicht geeignet für ältere , da die Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern sehr steil ist .Darauf sollte man achten …Ansonsten sehr schön , in der Nähe kann man gleich einkaufen und in wenigen Kilometern erreicht man rye , welches man unbedingt besuchen sollte ."

"We’re massive fans of four in the bed and this stay did not disappoint. The location is superb and tranquil with pubs close by for dining. We stayed in the lookerer and this shepherd hut had everything you’ll need! We made the most of the amenities provided and had one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had when staying away from home. The host was accommodating with late check out, checking in information and even provided us with the opportunity to get closer to the lambs."

"Check in easy, location fabulous. Bed comfortable - we slept really well - must be the sea air! The extra touches for our furry friend were spot on - doggy bowls and doggy treats were most welcome. "A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended!"

"4 night stay April 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) - accommodation very clean, comfortable and modern, hosts very welcoming - location peaceful (a few sheep and horses over the fence at the bottom of the garden, but no noise) and nice dark skies (I saw a few Lyrid meteors during my stay!). Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. Well located, Hastings, Rye & Great Dixter all a quick drive...
