"Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."

"Lovely self contained property, in beautiful position right on the Syndale Valley trail and 2 miles from Doddington Gardens, well worth a visit. Property contained every facilitiy required, bath and walk in shower, plentiful hot water and comfy bed. Breakfast produce left for first morning which was a lovely touch, hosts very good, there but not too intrusive - a wonderful stay."

"Pleasant place to stay, roomy for 2 people. Kitchen not particularly well equipped for guests like us who cook in.Road traffic noise somewhat intrusive but we live in a very quiet place.Friendly owners.Locked gate entrance a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker.Excellent location for visiting gardens."

"We spent our last few days in the UK at the barn and loved our stay there. The accommodation was very comfortable and charming - full of character. The location was superb, tucked away in the heart of the lovely Sussex countryside with friendly local pubs within easy walking distance. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and were happy to suggest the best local walks from the cottage using the map they supplied for us. "Listing description is accurate. Nicely outfitted with welcome treats, coffee pods, kitchen tools, and private parking. Your legs will be more toned after a few days on account of the stairs. Wisteria in the back garden was in bloom, lovely. Located right on the High Street so a short walk to all shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc. Supermarket was very close by for groceries. The house is set well back from the tree-lined road so it's quiet. Occasional noise of neighbours in their unit but...

"Really good value for this incredibly spacious apartment. A comfortable night. A couple of touches would improve the stay even more. As previous reviewer mentioned, the only mirror is above the bathroom sink. Its on the top of the jet garage which is closed at night. "
