For a more laid-back affair, visit the picturesque town of Crickhowell (8.5 miles) for afternoon tea and famous Welsh cakes. Lovers of reading simply must visit the world-famous town of Hay-on-Wye, otherwise known as ‘The town of books’ thanks to its impressive selection of charming bookstores.
