"This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

The hotel rooms, while a little dated in style, are comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities you could need for a pleasant stay. Easy check in, able to leave bag for a few hours on check out day. The bar downstairs was bright and vibrant, had an very funny and enjoyable evening show with cosmic the drag queen, great experience. "We enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient with a good selection of beers and spirits at the bar. We ate dinner one night and the food was well cooked and of a very good quality. "Great little hotel, rooms are old fashioned but cosy and warm, rooms are spotless including the bathroom shower was hot and powerful. Ample of parking and the breakfast was good, filling and very adequate. I would certainly return and recommend. "
