"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"Good sized en suite room in private flat. Powerful shower, good wifi. Convenient for Dorchester centre, no parking but public (paid) car park just across the road. There is a cat. Comfortable bed and very quiet location even though close to centre"

"Do not stay here if you are disabled or unable to carry your bags up a steep flight of outdoor metal stairs. The unit I stayed in is a refurbished attic. It’s well done and has a kitchenette. But, there does not appear to be any air conditioning. There is heat. I was there when it was cool, but it’s a second floor bedroom so it’s probably hot in the summer. It has the typical “charm” of older English properties that have been refurbed. Like to open the windows in the ceiling, you have to use a...

"This property was excellent, it provided everything we needed and more. Michael, our host, was very friendly and helpful. The area was beautiful and very quiet. Communication through Vrbo left a lot to be desired. We had problems accessing the app to find out details which was not the fault of our host Michael."

"Cottage was in a lovely location very peaceful setting however there were a couple cleanliness issues, black mould on alot of the tiles in the shower, the shower is definitely not made for anyone bigger than a size 14 and lots of limescale on the shower head the bed frame was very dusty and the toilet kept dumping water periodically which was annoying at night also we didn't realise you had to " book" the hot tub, that being said its was a lovely relaxing break and would definitely stay there...

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"It’s as lovely as it looks. Our children were like wood nymphs l, galloping around in the bluebells, while we had all our meals in the garden. Light and nature pours in through every window. Beautiful. "
