This home is managed by AMI Locals, an Anna Maria Island property management company.

We do not accept reservations from anyone under 25 years of age. We do not allow persons under 25 to occupy a property unless accompanied by someone over 25 years of age.

This property allows dogs with host approval prior to arrival. Please note there will be an additional pet fee associated, see our AMI Locals Rental Policies for full details.

Good location but need more improvements at the house

The house is in an excellent location and has been recently renovated, with modern, clean, and tasteful furniture. However, we encountered some issues that impacted our experience. Upon arrival, the pool was dirty with feces and took two days to be cleaned. The pool lights were burned out and, even after several requests, were never repaired. Although there is a photo of the boat lift in the listing, it cannot be used.We tried to check in earlier, offering to pay an additional fee, but were told the house was still being inspected — yet, upon entering, we found the pool in poor condition. At check-out, we were not allowed even one extra hour, as they claimed there were new guests arriving, which we later found was not true.Overall, it’s a very well-located and comfortable house, but it needs more attention to maintenance and customer service.

Over all the house was as described on the listing. I would have given the property a 5 star rating if the bathrooms were updated and the kitchen had a dishwasher. Kitchen had all amenities you needed, bathrooms had plenty of towels. Short drive to the beach. Great relaxing stay.

Beautiful home, in a quiet neighborhood, less than 5 miles from AMI!

We stayed at AMI Locals Edgewater location and it was very clean and met our needs. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, garage, with pool net and chair cushions, a grill, a pool, and a boat dock. We were also able to bring our two well behaved dogs. They loved the terrazzo floors (nice and cool). House was equipped with everything and well organized. Showers were a bit older but worked perfectly. The grass does have areas with sand spurs, so wear shoes and look at your dogs feet if they are licking them. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for accommodating us!

It's nice enough.

We loved our time at Anna Maria Island. The property manager was fairly responsive. However, the owners are in need of some property maintenance. We rented this place mostly because of the beautiful pool. The picture is gorgeous. The pool surface is old and extremely porous, which causes algae to form within a day after cleaning. The pool pump is leaking and isn't working properly so the pool stays green. The bathrooms have new wallpaper but the toilets, tubs and shower seem to be original. The master shower has a mold problem. The showerhead fell on me dueing my first shower. I did love the terrazzo floors throughout the house. The decor in the house is nice. The sliding glass door that leads to the canal and pool doesn't lock. It was hard to sleep at night knowing that the back door wasn't locked. The first day we arrived there were maggots all over the front porch and under the front door mat. We asked the property manager to please have them washed off. We would have washed it ourselves but there wasn't a hose available. They never got washed off but the property manager offered us a late check out as a consolation. We have some VRBO's that we visit every year. This place was nice enough. However, we won't be returning to this location.

Enjoyable property

Property was great. We loved having the pool in the back yard. The sunroom was beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Only draw back is the constant flow of traffic on Manatee. If you are looking for take out try Danny’s pizzeria. Also recommend The Waterfront restaurant, the Sandbar and The porch. The Star Fish in old Cortez village is a must but gove yourself time, it is so popular you will have to line up and wait for about an hour.

Great place!

Quiet neighborhood with backyard overlooking canal and enjoyed coffee on the lanai watching birds. Well supplied kitchen and everything was sparkling clean. Comfortable furniture and beds. Beautiful well maintained pool in the back yard but unfortunately the weather was too chilly so we didn’t get in. Quick drive to Anna Maria Island for beach day or restaurants. Walking distance to preserve that has abundant trails for walking or biking and fishing areas all over. Highly recommend! We will return!

Great location and quiet neighborhood. Clean property

Photos show umbrella by pool, but when asked, manager said that is not something they provide. TV didn't work and reported it upon arrival Saturday afternoon. Had to find a bar to watch playoffs, took lots of texting and reminders to get someone there. Between miscommunications and issues, didn't have a working TV until Monday. TV in master was never operable - nor did that one get fixed. Outside of missing umbrella - which shade is needed there - and no TVs, the house is really nice.
