Spacious Beach House/A/C, Bordering Brackley Beach

The location, quality, and owners’ responsiveness to all of your vacation needs are only a few of the amazing amenities this newly built (2017), air conditioned, 4 bedroom and 3 full bathroom, beach oasis has to offer.

Brackley Starfish is located in a quiet subdivision, in Brackley Beach, next to one of PEI's breathtaking national park beaches. A National Park Beach Pass is included with your stay, allowing you easy access to the miles of sandy beaches and sand dunes at Brackley Beach, or any of the other National Park Beaches you may want to visit during your stay!

Open the front door to Brackley Starfish and you will immediately be welcomed with beautiful water views through the sliding glass doors on the opposite side of the house. Step into the large entryway and you will find a hallway on the left and right. The hallway to the right leads to a large room with a queen size bed, fan, and TV; the laundry area; and a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. The hallway to the left leads to two bedrooms, one featuring a double size Murphy bed with a TV, and on the opposite side of the hall is the large master bedroom with water views, fan, TV, walk in closet, and ensuite bathroom!

The main floor also features an open concept kitchen and living room, and a formal dining room. There is a heat pump providing heat and air conditioning as desired! These front three rooms are lined with windows overlooking Brackley Bay and decorated in a modern beachy theme. The kitchen is large and offers many appliances (toaster, coffee maker, dish washer, etc) making cooking a breeze during your stay. There is an island with seating for 6, and a formal dining area that sits 6. The spacious living room is in between the kitchen and formal dining room, and offers comfortable seating, a television, and a fireplace for those cool evenings.

Downstairs you will find a second large living area with an additional heat pump (A/C, and heat), TV, and lots of comfortable seating. The fourth bedroom featuring a queen size bed, and the third full bathroom (tub/shower combination).

Outdoors enjoy breathtaking water views and sunsets, a spacious yard for outdoor games, and a large 54-foot-long deck equipped with a barbeque and lots of seating, including an outdoor table seating six! The outdoor space is the perfect area to relax or entertain, depending on the vacation style you choose.

To make your travels easier beach chairs and beach towels for 8, beach umbrellas, a large and small cooler, one set of golf clubs and a playpen and highchair are provided!

Brackley Starfish is located on the north shore of Prince Edward Island, popular with tourists and locals alike. As mentioned above, one minute from this cottage there is a national park with miles of sandy beaches where you can spend your warm summer days. There are many other activities to enjoy including biking, deep-sea fishing, horseback riding, golfing, and dining at one of the many local restaurants, including the world famous Dunes Studio Gallery and Café only 400 yards from the cottage.

Every comfort and convenience imaginable.

This house is now my favourite and I've rented quite a few in PEI. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and have put a great deal of thought into planning their vacation home so that guests can just stop at the grocery store on the way and then check in and relax. Everything you could want is at hand. The house is so comfortable and close to the beach. We had a great week.

Fabulous house!

We had 3 generations together for the week and everyone had their own space, as well as having ample space for all of us and more to gather together. It's a beautiful, tranquil location and we got to watch a meteor shower without the lights of a city. Everything is provided on the site that you could think of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful location

We absolutely loved every part of our stay. Darlene and Bob’s home is so beautiful and in a perfect location. They were perfect hosts, very accommodating and responsive. We can’t say enough about how wonderful everything was.

Family Summer Trip

Beautiful house in a lovely spot! The place was super clean and well looked after. Everything was very well organized and they had everything you could possibly need! The host was very responsive and prompt. We didn't want to leave and definitely want to come back!

We were there for a family vacation. The location is fantastic, easy to get to the beach, Charlottetown, groceries and restaurants. The house is gorgeous with all the amenities. We tried to book for next year but it’s already full.

Great house and location!

This house had it all! Beautiful property, clean, spacious. The living space was very comfortable and accommodating for our two families. Great deck, modern kitchen and on a lovely street off the main road. So close to Brackley and don’t worry if you didn’t bring things for the beach, they had chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, beach toys, even a set of clubs for my teenage son to use! Thank you for making our annual trip to the island so fun!

No need to look any further than this beautiful cottage near Brackley Bay!

Our family had a wonderful stay! Darlene and Bob’s cottage was a “home away from home” !! This cottage is so beautiful and comfortable!! Look no further!! You are 5 min drive from the incredible Brackley Beach , 15 min from the airport and 20 min from Charlottetown. This incredible property has everything you can think of and more! We will be returning in the future!! Many thanks to Bob and Darlene! Barb and family , Niagara Falls.

A beautiful cottage, fit perfectly for 8 people

Had such a great stay at this cottage, if you can call it that - it’s more like a decked out house. 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, more than enough space for two families of four. TV’s in all the bedrooms and living areas. A perfect location to make your home base as you travel around the island. Very convenient 15 minutes into Cavendish and 20 into Charlottetown. A huge backyard and property for kids to run around in. If I could take the entire kitchen home with me I would, it has absolutely everything you might need.

Location, location, location!

The house was everything we could have hoped for! Very clean and modern with everything imaginable for a weeks stay. Six adults shared the house without feeling crowded. We got to meet the owners several times and enjoyed their hospitality and genuine willingness to make our stay as memorable as it was. Location was key! We were close to everything. Visited the Park a few times which made the Park Pass very useful. Charlottetown just a few miles away for some fun shopping. Would recommend this property Julie reilly

Great PEI Vacation!

We very much enjoyed our visit to PEI and this home in Brackley Beach. The house is beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very helpful if we had any questions. Brackley Beach is a great location for beach access—5 minutes from the house—and for getting to Charlottetown and anywhere else on the island. We definitely would rent here again.

Perfect!

We loved the property. It's like new and the location to Brackley Beach (2 minutes) is perfect and it's only a 15 minute drive to Charlottetown. The house is really big and has every amenity you could ask for. Thanks Bob and Darlene for sharing your beautiful home with our group of 4 adults.

Great Family Vacation!

This home is an excellent rental. We were traveling as a group of 6, 4 adults, a one year old, and a 4 year old. The home is new and very well cared for. It has everything needed from a well equipped kitchen to A/C and laundry. The house is a bungalow with a fully finished basement with it's own full bathroom. The basement has a standard door at the top of the stairs that was very important for us, no baby gates are needed here. The high chair and playpen that are included in the home are great. The dining room leading off the living room offered a great place for the adults to relax after the kids were sleeping. Overall I would highly recommend this rental.

Dream Vacation Home

This home was roomy, extremely comfortable, immaculate. Located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood it featured a large deck for relaxing, a great kitchen and 4 nicely appointed bedrooms. No details were overlooked. The location was perfect for access to Charlottetown, the Airport and the nation park beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this home strongly!

Beautiful house in a perfect location!

We stayed with another family, 4 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space...3 bathrooms and walk in closets! This house is so well equipped! To have a park pass, beach chairs, umbrella and a large cooler was amazing. There were great games, though a few simpler ones for little kids would be appreciated. Everything was comfortable and clean. We tried not to use the air conditioning as we wanted to enjoy the summer air, but we were thankful for it because it was crazy hot!! We used the canoe, which was awesome. The only issue was that it was a bit farther from the waters edge than we thought, so we had to lug the canoe on a wheel cart about 10 minutes. But it was worth it, as the paddling on Brackley Bay was fabulous. We would definitely return and recommend this spot to anyone wanting to be close to beaches and still just 15 mins from Charlottetown.
