"We had the pleasure of staying at The Gem while visiting family in Bovey. It was such a beautiful location (that is saying something considering we are from Alaska) with everything you could need. We had a wonderful time fishing on the lake and were quite successful. The sunroom was a fantastic surprise on arrival. We look forward to staying again while visiting family in the near future. "

"This house was a great stay for my 3 adult kids and me. Right near/in town so very convenient. We only needed lodging this time, but for a longer stay it will be nice to have the kitchen and even a grill on the deck."

"My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful time kicking back and relaxing at the yurt. We mostly just hunkered down for our short stay and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We loved how encapsulated in nature we were while also being close enough to town if we needed to grab something. David and Bev were on top of everything and all of our needs were more than met! The fresh baked scones and s’mores were a delicious treat around the campfire! We definitely want to come back for a more...

"This is a cozy cabin yet has lots of open space for family. The lake is quiet and crystal clear. It doesn’t get much better than this!"

"We loved the cabin, the furnishings/ decor, location and the super clear lake. We had plenty of room for the 2 of us and stayed 5 nights. Fishing was good from the dock and boat. We didn't catch anything huge, but had fun. The owners were very responsive to my questions before, during and after our stay. We would love to stay again!"

"Fun family weekend on the lake, fishing, kayaking and hanging by the fire. Very clean and comfy for a family of 5 plus a toddler. Dogs have a blast too. "

"This little slice of heaven was perfect for our two little families. The water was clear and great for swimming (was a little mucky right off the dock, but if u want out a bit it was firmer). The big bock was a plus for the kiddos and we didn’t have to worry about them slipping. We enjoyed our time!"
