The Mohawk Trail House

The Mohawk Trail House....right at the doorstep of the great north! (Right next door to the Little Brown House, the sister to this house) Located near the snowmobile trail, the Trail House is your perfect getaway. This two bedroom house has all the amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. A queen bed in the master bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and a fold away mattress if needed. Fully stocked kitchen, cooking facilities, coffee bar, and a large refrigerator. Outside, the Trail House has a large yard for parking or to sit and enjoy the evening on your wrap-around deck. Also includes washer and dryer to use during your stay. Slim's Cafe (best cinnamon buns in town!) and the Glacia Tavern are within walking distance. Mt. Bohemia is a short 20 minute ride. Come to ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, hike, swim, fish or relax at this perfect "home away from home".

This place was very cozy, comfortable, and clean! I had stayed at many places and I can say this place was the most comfortable one. Especially the beds.. slept like a baby! Also, tons of parking! With good location close to the hills and places to eat!

Great place to stay. House was clean, set up well, amenities were perfect. Hosts were super friendly, hospitable and responsive. Great location in proximity to snowmobile trails and local favorite places to visit. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming up to the Keweenaw.

Had another great stay at the Trail House, lately our home away from home.As per normal, the bed is still wonderful, the kitchen has all you need, the living room is comfortable & the backyard deck is a great place to hang out during down times. Additionally, Slim's Cafe is right across the street, a place you can stop for breakfast or lunch and always has some fresh, homemade bakery goods for sale. We love the Trail House and highly recommend it.

It was great! It was clean, easy to communicate with owners if needed, and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure was also great. I have stayed at other places where I can barley rinse the soap out my hair when I shower so it is great to take a nice shower everyday. I also loved the location. I would definitely stay there again.
