The Lieu Sorbier Fishing Lodge is a fully independent, carefully restored stone farmhouse located in a peaceful hamlet in the Bocage Bourbonnais region. With its exposed beams and authentic charm, it offers an ideal setting for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. From the lodge, you can enjoy a pleasant view of the private pond at your disposal, where fishing is practiced according to the catch-and-release principle, as well as a large natural area perfect for relaxation and walks.
Perfect for fishing enthusiasts, family holidays, getaways with friends, spa treatments, or excursions to explore the Allier region, this lodge combines comfort, authenticity, and conviviality in a protected environment.

Ground floor: a welcoming living room with a wood-burning stove, opening onto a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The sleeping area comprises two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140*190) and one with two single beds (90*190). You will also have a shower room and a separate toilet.

Outside, you will enjoy a pleasant private garden of 300 m², a large courtyard, and a furnished terrace with garden furniture, a gas griddle, and a charcoal barbecue. Outdoor enthusiasts will also appreciate the pétanque court and the opportunities for walks around the pond and the 2-hectare private woodland.
The estate's pond is home to perch, carp, roach, black bass, and rudd. Upon prior request and for an additional fee, Anthony, the owner and fishing guide, can offer introductory or advanced fly fishing lessons. Karine, the owner, also offers massage and reflexology sessions (for a fee), by reservation.

Between heritage, nature, and relaxation, the gîte enjoys a prime location for discovering the must-see attractions of the Allier region. In the heart of the Bocage Bourbonnais, you'll appreciate the rolling landscapes, hiking trails, and charming villages. The Tronçais Forest, located 30 km away, boasts some of the most beautiful oak forests in Europe and offers numerous opportunities for walks and outdoor activities. Approximately 60 km away, Le PAL amusement park will delight the whole family with its animal park and attractions. Heritage enthusiasts can also visit Moulins, a designated City of Art and History, with its historic center, cathedral, and the National Center of Stage Costume. Numerous castles, Romanesque churches, and farmers' markets complete the appeal of this ideal destination for a rejuvenating stay.
