"Perfect stay. Camper was clean and as advertised. Check in was easy. Our stay was very comfortable."

"It was perfect for what we were looking for. Not too far from town- Boulder Junction is a very cute/nice town. The cabin itself was clean and the screened in patio was definitely a nice addition. There is great variety of DVDs but I did not see any games, I would suggest guests bring some games for a rainy day. Overall, it was a very nice stay. "

"The amenities in the cabin were fantastic. Everything was there that we could’ve needed including shampoo, soap, towels etc.. The lake was quiet and serene and great for swimming/wading. The neighbors were far away, giving us the privacy we were looking for. I loved all the little notes around the cabin sharing where supplies were. The water pressure and hot water were fantastic for a cabin. No need to bring a fan. They had ceiling fans everywhere and extra fans in the closet, but we didn’t need...

"I rated a 3 for the listing as it should have a better description to find the house. It's on a 'two track' through woods with a fire number that is nailed up on a tree with other fire numbers."

"Cabin was super cute, clean, and had everything we needed. We had no issues and host was responsive when we had question about wifi. My favorite part was the deer who hang out around the cabins! "

The property and facilities are breathtaking.Big Portage Lake is a beautiful lake with crystal clear water.Close to hiking, ATV / UTV, biking trail and several waterfalls in the UP within an hour.Highly recommend this property, especially for larger groups.We are already planning our next stay at Redstone."

"The house sits at the end of the road so all you see are deer, foxes, squirrels, and the birds. Large hill down to the lake but chose this location as there is a road right to the dock so I could get my wife down to our rented pontoon boat. Daily boat rides and fishing from both the boat and the dock. Plenty of bluegills to keep the grandkids interested every day. "This property is perfect for a large family to comfortably enjoy the living quarters. The 8 bedrooms are at one end of the building allowing “the littles” to go to sleep earlier than the adults with no need to worry about making too much noise to disturb their slumber. Both the main level and lower level have a family room with a tv and the lower level has a pool table. A wine/beer cooler in the bar area, in addition to the fridge, came in handy. The lake isn’t crowded with fellow boaters so we...

"Adorable , clean and updated cabin. Everything you needed was supplied. The views were amazing. Definitelywill come back. Oh and the beach is sandy and shallow for little kids but too shallow for fishing off the dock. I give it a 10!!"

"Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not...

"Enjoyed our end of August stay in this well kept, spacious property. Appreciated the flexibility to bring our Labrador along. We hiked on a number of the nearby developed trails, and enjoyed dinners at several restaurants with 30 minutes or so. (caution - note that numerous restaurants are closed Mondays and/or Tuesdays, and reservations are important)"
