"It’s about 20 minutes from the pier and the main town, but honestly, everything on the island takes 20–40 minutes to reach by motorbike. "Lovely family hotel. Found it quiet even though it’s just off the bypass. Hotel has its own taxi service which we found easier to use than go jek etc. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. About 10 minute walk to beach. Plenty of warungs and restaurants close by especially if you leave through the back entrance which is open till 9pm. "This property was perfect for quietness, with only the sounds of the birdlife. Every morning at 6am there was chanting sounds for five minutes. "Everything about Sanctuary Villas is spectacular. The view was out of this world, I could have spent the whole time just looking out the window. Easy walk down to the deck for dining options, very well stocked kitchen (and fridge), and the pool in the courtyard was perfect, great temperature to spend hours in the pool with the kids.
