Spacious Private Entrance Master Bedroom/Bath

Private master bedroom includes exclusive use of attached bathroom. Access this apartment-like area via a private exterior staircase entrance. Short walk to shopping and Wellesley town center. Near commuter rail, restaurants, stores, Whole Foods. Clean, cozy room with tasteful decorations, king-size bed, sitting area and closet. High-speed wifi, deck. Safe area. Walking/jogging trails. Room has microwave and fridge. No TV.

The space

The room is clean, cozy and comfortable. It includes exclusive use of an attached bathroom. Furnishings include a comfortable king-sized bed, side tables, two sofas and a chair. A coffee table can be raised to act as a workstation. Separate climate controls for your comfort. A microwave, toaster and refrigerator are in the room for your exclusive use. No TV.

The room has its own exterior, second floor private entrance. The approach is well-lit at night (motion detectors). A single interior door connects the room to the rest of the house, but will remain locked for the duration of your stay.

We have off-street parking for one guest car.

Guests have access to the room plus an attached bathroom.

Interaction with guests

We are generally available to answer questions and to be helpful. We are unlikely to be available for socializing due to our busy lives.

Other things to note

Our only personal belongings stored in the room are the contents of one bookshelf tucked in a corner plus two locked owner's closets. We keep the interior door to the room locked from the owner's side (double cylinder lock).

Convenient to Wellesley, to shops and other things. But quiet and out of the way. Just a single room, with couch facing the bed and no TV, so best for people exploring the area rather than planning to hole up, but the couch was comfy and the coffee was delicious. Really glad we found this!

The house is in a great location—quiet, safe, and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for bathing, and the air conditioning and thermostat kept the indoor temperature perfect. I especially appreciated having two wash basins, which made getting ready more convenient. The only downside was that I forgot to bring slippers, so walking around at night was a bit noisy, but that's a minor issue. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

It was a very nice clean, well kept place. It had everything we needed. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed and made sure to let us know if we needed anything or had any questions to let her know. It was in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. I look forward to coming here again for any future adventures to Boston.

Nous avons visité Boston. Grâce à l'emplacement de la chambre nous avons marché jusqu'à la station de train (environ 15 minutes) et en 40 minutes nous étions à Boston pour seulement 8$ par personne. L'hôte répond très bien aux questions, l'endroit était très propre et c'était très tranquille. C'est également près de restaurants, d'une épicerie et d'une pharmacie à pied.

We were pleasantly surprised with this little gem in a beautiful neighborhood. We went in the summer so the surrounding trees were beautiful. The welcome email gave detailed instructions on everything we needed for our stay. The location is in a quaint neighborhood with upscale restaurants and shops within a short drive. There is even a great neighborhood restaurant within walking distance of the property. The host was very kind and accommodating. The room itself was well maintained and clean. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend others staying here as well. Great value!

Most highly recommend for basic suburban rental space. We stayed one night. Host Julia was very communicative and provided excellent explanations about parking and door un/locking in advance. Space was very clean, well-appointed, well-functioning. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept with windows open enjoying the fresh air and peaceful neighborhood. Only a few minutes from Wellesley center where we ate and walked a lovely main street. I read their copy of "Foreign Affairs" (first time in decades) and now have subscribed to it. No-hassle, high quality space and experience.

This place was great. Minutes from train station to Boston. Easy check in it was clean and we will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area. Neighborhood was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to stay close to Boston.

Julia was a delight to work with and the apartment was perfect for our needs. We walked ten minutes to a nice dinner and 15 to catch the train. We will definitely be staying at this apartment again.
