Renovated Beach House Close to Everything, Minutes to Boston

Spacious private single family house sitting right by the beautiful Wollaston beach. Stunning Ocean and Boston Skyline views from the master bedroom and living/dinning/kitchen area. Steps to beach, restaurants (e.g. the Clam Box), parks, and children’s play ground. Great place to walk, to jog, picnic or just lay down to get a suntan.

Open floor plan with newly renovated chief’s kitchen, new hardwood floor throughout the house and tasteful decorations. Easy access to Boston/places-of-interests: 9 mile to Downtown Boston via I-93; 1 mile to Wollaston Subway station with Red Line T to Boston, MIT and Harvard. Bus stop is one block away. Master bedroom: King bed + Private bathroom+suite with an extra twin bed; Bedroom 2: Queen bed; Private driveway parking of 4 cars. Local regulation that only allows four or less unrelated parties to stay overnight will be followed.

The property was very clean. It was a little drafty (we were there in winter) and to adjust the heat we would have had to contact the host. House was super comfortable, had everything we needed. Host was super responsive. Everything was easy to find. Parking was good, location was good. We stayed in winter so can’t comment on the beach experience. Playground super nearby which is great for kids.

Great ocean view. Great location. The house was a little disappointing compared to the pictures. The kitchen was fabulous - the bedrooms and bathrooms- not so much. Additionally, we had plenty of towels but only 3 washcloths for 4 people. The door to the back patio was locked so there was no access to the back.

We liked the neighborhood the VRBO was located it. Close to restaurants, park, ocean, variety store etc. We walked through the neighborhood each night and felt very safe. The kitchen was big, open, and well stocked.

The home was welcoming, clean, fresh and as described in the listing. Easily accessible (walkable) to the beach, dining and local market. Host was quick to answer any and all questions I had. Quite enjoyable and would stay again if we came to that area.

Everything was good. Small market 1/2 away, as well as a couple small cafes. The Only problem is "walk through bedrooms", to get to the second bedroom on both floors, which wouldn't be comfortable for every one.

Great group stay

We stayed here for a girls weekend, ranging from our 30s to our 70s...it was perfect for all of us. It is definitely a "beach house" which has a nice casual feel. Some of the bedrooms dont have privacy, but it was not an issue for us at all. The kitchen was well equipped which was great.

Boston convenient

This rental served us well. Some challenges due to arriving late night in a snow storm and with snow and ice, but owner was very responsive to get us shoveled out quickly on the 1st morning. Washing machine did not work but owner got it replaced in a day. Traffic and signals are a bit loud especially for the upstairs bedroom.Nice view of the bay and downtown skyline.Overall a good rental for convenient access in and out of Boston and the South Shore.

Boston Holiday Weekend

This was a perfect house for our annual holiday weekend. The house was clean, comfortable, and close to the T into Boston. When we arrived the table was set for 6, complete with wine glasses which was a nice touch. If you choose to cook the kitchen is fully stocked. There was also enough seating in the living room for all 6 of us, something we don't usually find in a rental. We were right across the street from the water and had a beautiful view of the sunrise and of Boston. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Spacious Stay on Wollaston Beach

This home is across the street from the central part of Wollaston Beach. Easy access to Boston via car, also T-Station is ~1 mile away with easy city access. Spacious - open concept: kitchen - dining room - living room -- There is a lot of room in the main family area. Kitchen is great - large island with seating. With the open concept it's useful for cooking, dining or laying out dishes for buffet style serving. Great stove / oven, advanced and roomy microwave, large refrigerator - coffee maker with pods, (I think a traditional pot, too). Lots of pots, pans, cooking utensils. Upstairs bedroom is massive, with a small bed outside that room. As mentioned by others, one of the bedrooms is a little 'open' and you have to go through it to get to another bedroom. There is a 4th bedroom available that is behind the main living area (extra charge) that we did not examine. Mud room/hallway for summertime beach sandiness. Owner very responsive. We were very satisfied.

Great Location

Easy and quick access to the T. 4 minute drive. Beach right across the street. Easy to downtown, depending on the time of day. We would definitely stay there again!
