"We were in town for a wedding and realized pretty quickly that there wasn’t much of a nightlife in the area. But the house very quickly accommodated our needs with a great fire pit that allowed us to reconnect with old friends. The pool table in the basement made pool tournaments a great way to spend our evenings. Loved everything about the property and would stay there again if I have the opportunity to. "

"The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped and I loved the flat top! It made it so easy to cook for everyone. Kids loved the paddle boards and even rowed over to the marina next door to eat lunch. The fried pies were amazing! We shared lots of laughs and made a lot of memories! Thanks for sharing your home with us "

"The property was just as described. It's a cozy place for a stay on the lake, our kids loved sleeping in the loft room! Nice and cool indoors, which is important during the summer months. We liked how well stocked it was, lots of items we packed that we didn't even need. It is located in an area that is great for learning to kayak, especially for young kids. I would certainly recommend this lake house. We had a wonderful stay and made some great memories with our children!"

"Great place great location "

"The property is located right at the marina. This made it easy to pull out boat out every night and charge the batteries. The loft is not an option for older people because the stairs are too steep, but perfect for children or young adults who don’t mind crawling up the stairs. I found it kind of cozy and didn’t mind it at all. I have stayed in these tiny homes several times and have always loved it here. I hope to be coming back again soon "

"My old son wanted to go to the lake for his birthday so we rented this place. It was awesome. Great view. Great dock. it had plenty of room for everyone. Two staircases but had plenty of baby gates on property to keep our three year old safe. I would definitely recommend this property."

"We had a fantastic stay at this property on Lay Lake in Shelby, Alabama. The open-concept layout was perfect for our group—it made it so easy for everyone to gather and spend time together. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the whole space had a welcoming, cozy feel.There were a few minor hiccups—when we arrived, the grill was out of propane and there were no coffee pods, and one of the paddles was broken. However, the hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which...

"A slice of heaven on the lake. Our family was in the area for our daughter’s college graduation. We were able to spend the time with family and friends and relax out on the lake. Lots off activities to do at the house, from corn hole, to the arcade system for the kids, to the outdoor fire pit in the evenings. "The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area. "
