"Truly the best property in Portree. Yes you are outside of town centre, but it is within a 10 minute walk which we easily did a few times. The hotel was incredible. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the pictures do not do it justice ! It is by far one of the most romantic places I’ve stayed . "Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. "Our stay at the Skye Inn was made very enjoyable because the Staff were so welcoming and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast menu was both varied and delicious served with a smile. Our room was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. "We enjoyed the quiet location and it was an ideal spot for exploring the highlights of the Isle of Skye. The location needs a bigger sign to indicate the driveway. We had to ask some strangers for directions when we were trying to find it. We could also have used a bit more toilet paper and towels. The pillows in the room with the double bed were thin and unsupportive. Apart from this we had a pleasant stay."
