"This is a perfect getaway location. We enjoyed the privacy and the location is near Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Quiet & apartment is perfect. Kitchen had premier cooking utensils, pans, and I loved the extra care with coffee or tea and dishes. Excellent one room for a couple. Walking up to the garden house called Mole Hill is an extra perk. We loved Badger’s Den and the theme from Wind in the Willows!"

"This property may be better than advertised. It is in a great location just a few miles outside of Boone. Close enough to be back into town in minutes but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Plenty of space for multiple people to sleep and also space to gather in dining area and living room. Would recommend this property to any medium to large group. "

"Loved the new back deck surrounded by wild garden of ferns,flowers and trees. The fire pit was cozy. The master bed was as comfortable as a luxury hotel. I really enjoyed cooking on the chef’s stove. Just loved everything about the Tanglewood.So comfortable. And the host was very hospitable. Always giving updates and specific information about the cabin. No guesswork about anything. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable stay. Very relaxing."

"Clean and beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable, and the apartment was well stocked with everything needed - towels, dishes, extra blankets, etc. Very quiet area yet only a four minute drive to restaurants. We even saw a few deer in the surrounding greenery. Will definitely be returning! "

"A great experience from start to finish. Home is beautiful. Just as described on the website. Very clean. The movie theatre was fantastic. We all gathered (13) in the theatre 3 of the 4 nights. Complimentary candy was much appreciated. Game room was also enjoyed nightly. Kitchen was well stocked. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t supplied. "It was a wonderful accomadatiin. A little challenging mountain roads but to be expected in the end, not far from town. Was able to go rafting and tubing. Saw deer right on the wooded property and enjoyed the visiting hummingbirds . A great place for our get awsy"

"This is a very nice cabin in a great location. It is right near lots of things in Boone yet as soon as you turn up the street to get to the cabin it is wooded and secluded. The cabin was very clean and well furnished. It was definitely one of the nicest cabins we've stayed in.
