"Our main reason for choosing this property was it had an indoor pool. When we checked in, we were told the pool was not working and they didn’t know when it would be back in working order. This should be posted on their website. Another issue is that when I asked for a receipt at check out the young man did not seemed pleased. He was not very receptive at all to questions or acted as if he wanted to be there. My husband did appreciate the breakfast."

"Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and provided with delicious, warm chocolate cookies. Our room was spacious and quiet. The complimentary continental breakfast was adequate and it's dining area was comfortably arranged. The location was perfect, directly accessible from I-581. And the cost was reasonable."

"The location is excellent. The staff are friendly. The parking price was reasonable. However, from about 11p-4a I was woken up repeatedly by people making very loud sexual sounds for hours on end which illuminated the entire area. Luckily my kids weren’t with me, but as a mature adult it was the most classless distasteful experience I’ve had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I called the front desk a few times when I couldn’t take it anymore and got no answer. Will be awaiting a response from...

"It is a lovely hotel. The room was new and well-appointed with some of the old bank building charm. It's upscale while being quaint and comfortable. We were on the 4th floor. The room had amazing upper windows. Very cool! The staff was lovely. Very accommodating and friendly. The location is ideal, right in the middle of town. We were very happy to stumble upon the Promissory Hotel!"
