"It was a great location - right on the water. The cabin was rustic. Shower and toilet were less than I hoped for. Lock on front door was hard to lock from inside. And, there was no secure lock on back door."

"The view from the deck of Round Lake was breathtaking! We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view! Such a great location because you can walk right out to the Main Street and out the back to the marina. I highly recommend!"

"Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!"

"Booked last minute due to change of plans, owner was very responsive and even allowed early check in due to getting the site cleaned fast! Very friendly and easy communication. This was an amazing experience and stay."

"The home was stunning with ample room for our family to enjoy. We caught fish from the dock and the kids enjoyed the water. It is a great place. The host was very friendly, kind and very responsive to our questions/concerns. "

"Cabin was very clean, cute, and cozy! We brought our 1 year old for his first trip up north. This was a great location for us. 30 min from the beach we like to go to and about 5 min from downtown harbor springs. Owner and kind neighbors gave us firewood that lasted us the entire week which was wonderful. Lots of s’mores made! If you have young ones the cabin is right by the street, so you gotta keep an eye out so they don’t run into the road but our guy did just fine. Would definitely recommend...

"This spot is close to downtown Petoskey, yet far enough that you feel away from it all. We rented a canoe and did 5 miles down the Bear river, which brought us back to the camp site. Beautiful scenery and peaceful. The bathroom/shower house was clean and had plenty of hot water. Don't forget the bug spray, being close to the river did bring mosquitoes. We had a great anniversary weekend and would definitely return! "

"This truly felt like a home away from home for us! Me and my girls were in between moving in and out of different homes and spent 10 nights here - It was perfect and what we needed during the transition! Being right on the water was a dream come true - especially the views waking up first thing in the morning and then around sunset. "Erin was fantastic and the house was everything we could wish for. Very comfortable, well stocked with everything you might need, and great location very close to fantastic beaches on Lake Michigan as well as beautiful nature preserves along M119 (tunnel of trees). We loves sitting on the back deck watching a summer meteor shower too. Will definitely come back in the future."

"When we arrived it instantly exceeded our expectations for location and view. The darling cabin had a lovely view overlooking the bay (not immediately from the cabin, but from the front deck, look to the right and you’ve got a gorgeous scene). The cabin is immediately across the street from the bike/walking trail full of beauty. We were always only an handful of minutes from extreme beauty and perfect convenience. "Very clean property. Owner was extremely responsive. Well located between Petoskey and Charlevoix, with easy access to Boyne City. Even though it was hot during our stay, the small window A/C plus ceiling fans kept us comfortable. Would definitely recommend!"
