Family get together

The house is not very welcoming from the front but does get better upon entering. No trespassing sign in the front, never cleaned windows and dead landscaping. The main problem we had was that this house is a split level. There are NO bedrooms on the main floor as we were told. I had messaged the manager to confirm this fact because we were traveling with elderly parents who do not do stairs well as well as a person who has been very ill and unable to do stairs. To our disappointment, everyone had to do stairs or be carried up and down. Had we none this we would never had booked this place. The bedrooms are very nicely done with very firm mattresses. I would suggest they clarify the style of the house for future people unable to walk stairs. I would suggest they clean the gutters because the water was gushing one step from the front door. The front windows appear to have never been cleaned when the remodel was done as it was hard to see outside. We had to connect with the manager for a new shower liner as the one on it had mold. Huge turn off. Took longer than it should of to be handled, shower curtain arriving at 9:40 pm. The information for the stay is on a link that can not be opened with the managers attachment. You have to type it into your phone to get it to open without having to pay for the app. No book left in the house with the information easy to see.

Mold spotted on the liner was not acceptable.

Can not see very well out the front windows. Very dirty.

Took a video but screen shot gives you an idea of the low gutter and gutters pouring water at the front door.

Not impressed

The bad…Host stopped responding, no WiFi password for 3 days, no book with any sort of instructions- sent digitally after we reached out to Vrbo customer service, grass was not cut in front and back yard and was up past our ankles, trash had not been picked up in the outside cans, no trash cans in bathrooms, we had to purchase a bath mat for showers because they were so slippery, wet towels in dryer that had soured, smoke detector batteries chirping, no hand towels in bathrooms, we had to buy them, rugs in living room and the downstairs bedroom are super slippery, they need to be taped down, downstairs shower had water temp issues, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold, water temp in general was so hot was definitely over 120 and could easily burn someone. The good… home was spacious and nicely decorated, the beds were super comfortable and was, for the most part fairly clean.
