First and foremost I am a faithful customer for the all the Estelar hotels in Colombia. On Monday was in Barranquilla service was especular. Then I visited Santa Marta, was served by the most amazing Server. Unfortunately, yesterday my flight was cancel at 4:00 am, therefore I was so extremely sleepy. I politely requested an earlier checkin. First they said to keep checking if room was ready. Every 30 or 40 minutes I would check, with front desk, and they said no, in professional manner. Requests were made after noon.
Most of the staff was polite, however the front desk clerk that worked yesterday, that had glasses and tall, was unpleasant, he spoke to me in an condescending way and he spoke in high tone, reflecting he is in the wrong profession. No patience and not a good person.The gentleman with blue eyes, finally took my passport, and gave me my room. They did not accept my passport prior, so I could off been in my room promptly by 3:00 pm. Instead I was in my room at 3:30 pm, with their nonsense process. I saw families getting their room by 2:00 pm. At Estelar Hotel in Barranquilla , they always made accommodation for me.
Hopefully management can investigate the matter, and also offer discount or compensation for the inconvenience for my family and me. Keep in mind I rented 2 rooms for only 3 people. Hopefully in the future management can make better choices of good employees, that have empathy and respect, and show kindness. Thanks Alma Moreno
