Wonderfully situated in the heart of the old village, this inviting cottage brings contemporary comfort to the most classic of Bodega Bay settings. Stroll down to the water's edge to watch the fishing boats come and go, and catch unforgettable sunsets from the wraparound porch overlooking the bay.

This single-story home is located in the waterfront town of Bodega Bay, within a few blocks of several cafes, shops, and fishing charters. Whether your interests lie in beachcombing, fishing, or surfing, you'll have South Salmon Creek Beach, Bodega Dunes Beach, and Doran Beach all within two miles. This is also a great home base for exploring the Sonoma and Marin Coasts, with Jenner (11 miles), the Russian River Valley, and Point Reyes National Seashore (35 miles) close by.

This home is nearly a century old, but it's been thoughtfully updated in recent years to enhance its comfort, ease, and original charm. At the heart of the living space is a brand-new kitchen, offering stainless steel appliances and an eat-in dining room table.

Begin each morning with a mug of coffee and a cushioned seat outside on the sheltered patio, and end each evening curled up in the warmth of the gas fireplace in the living room. Set up a board game at the dining room table, use the complimentary WiFi to check tomorrow's tides and surf, and leave the day's swimsuits and clothes in the care of the washer/dryer before turning in for a restful night's sleep.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
