This sweet escape, newly remodeled 2400 sq. feet home comes equipped with 3 master suites. Spacious living room with a great view over the bay and a fun game room. Brand new kitchen with up to date appliances. Master suites are furnished with 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. 7 piece sofa set, enough to seat the whole family. Living room also has an antique fireplace. In this home away from home we offer many amenities which include, flat screen TVs, up date cooking essentials and electronics, a game room equipped with a 55 inch Smart tv, a full size pool table and a twin pullout sofa bed, propane BBQ along with a patio seating area on the backyard terrace. Backyard is a nice private area for the whole family to enjoy. Side deck with a picnic table alongside the BBQ offers a tremendous view of the bay, party boat dock and the beauty of nature and its creatures itself. Parking space is accessible to an outstanding number of 4 cars easily also with RV and Boat parking.

Experience the solitude and tranquility of the unique Bay front home, or take advantage of the abundant activities offered by Bodega Bay: hiking, wine tasting, boating, fishing, exploring, kayaking, fresh seafood dinging (fishermans cove, terrapin creek etc.), clamming when the tide is low or just relax at the beachfront.

We are also only minutes from beautiful Bodega Head, the Bodega Marine Lab, Salmon Creek and Doran beaches.This home away from home is down the street to Porto Bodega Marina where you can purchase fresh locally caught seafood or book fishing, crabbing, and GIANT Squid trips depending on the season. Multiple excellent restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and art galleries are also within easy walking distance or a short drive away.

great place

we were attending my grandson's wedding at Secret garden and this place was in a perfect spot to stay it was in walking distance. I husband and I check out a few days before and were a little worried when looking at the outside but we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well kept the inside was. I would stay there again.

Manage Your Expectations

Just disappointing. Property is poorly maintained (have lots of pics) with stained rugs, broken plumbing, overgrown weeds. The location is across the street from an overgrown junkyard, and the road is quite busy/noisy. The "deck" with a water view looks like it's about to fall off - has an old, torn bench with filthy cushion. Yes, the house is functional but not nearly to the level of quality I've come to expect from VRBO rentals. If you rent this one, keep your expectations low.

My family really enjoyed Gary’s very spacious house! The pool table was pretty popular, central location, deer grazing across the street every night, homey atmosphere, roomy kitchen with everything we needed. We hope to return sometime!

A bit of a hidden gem

For 35 years we've been renting houses at Bodega Harbour (i.e. the golf course complex), so this was a bit of a departure for us. Really glad we did so - this was a very nice house for five of us.The kitchen is very well (and simply) laid out with enough room for us all to work in it - which we do every meal, as we cook lots of gourmet foods every day. The fit-out of available appliances, tools, utensils, pots, pans, knives, etc was great - better than most houses we've stayed at. It was lacking dessert-sized plates.so plan to bring some paper plates if that matters to you.The 3x King bedrooms were all comfy and the temp control (at least upstairs) was fine. One of our (adult) friends ended up on the sofa bed in the downstairs game room and reported that the bed was "OK, for a sofa bed", but the downstairs full bathroom is attached to the bedroom, so you either have to trespass on the bedroom or come upstairs to use the bathroom, which is a bit awkward depending upon how friendly everyone is with each other!Overall, a great visit and a house we'd gladly rent again.

Family Vacation

Overall great time. House clean and had all you needed for cooking. However, only one towel per person no wash cloths or floor mats for bathrooms. Problems with tub draining in downstairs shower. Outside fire pit area not useable due to ground erosion.
