Wrap yourself in the comforting warmth of this home, which features an all-wood interior and a gas fireplace that rises to the ceiling. Curl up during the winter and watch some cable TV or a Blu-ray. You'll also have free WiFi to keep you connected and the central AC will keep you cool in the summer. Other bonuses are the pool and air hockey tables, and you can pack light thanks to the private washer/dryer. The private gas grill will keep you well-fed on those nights you'd rather not make a mess in the full kitchen, and after dinner, relax on the lovely wraparound deck or gather at the outdoor firepit and partake of some stargazing.

Great quiet place to stay descent view. Basement games were very worn out! Wish hot tun worked, driveway was the biggest thing not sure if we could have made it out of the property without 4wd with all the rain the area received while we were there and there was NOTHING about that in the listing

Dog Friendly but needs TLC and maintenance

I’ve shared a detailed review with Vacasa, who manages this listing, hopefully they will share with the owner and have some maintenance completed at this home. We chose this property because it was pet friendly. We visited in October and unfortunately there are close trees so there is not a great mountain view. It has the minimum needed for a weekend, bedding, pillows, back deck, etc. Unfortunately there were other things in this home that need attention. The photos on the listing are outdated. There are no cute stumps for sitting around the fire, there are multiple old welcome mats, one is growing into the grass. The air fryer and coffee machine are missing light indicators and the coffee machine is difficult to use because the labels on the buttons has been rubbed off, so using it is an educated guess. The cabin was dark, and was made a little darker by a missing lamp bulbs and overhead light. The drive to the rental starts on asphalt then drops steeply to gravel. There is a sign on the gravel road that is posted stating AWD or 4WD vehicles only should attempt the climb out of the driveway. Overall the cabin needs maintenance.

A Great Weekend Get-Away!

I took my wife on a weekend get-away for her birthday. The address was easy to find via GPS, and the location was well positioned and not too difficult to reach. The accommodations were as stated and were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and the hot tub worked well. Overall a GREAT stay!

Relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We celebrated our anniversary and had a great time! A couple of things that put a slight damper was the listing said there was a hot tub, but wasn’t until after it was booked, it was revealed the hot tub was unavailable. Also, there were a couple of dirty dishes in the cabinet and drawer. Other than that, place was beautiful and clean.

Great cabin but needs some tweaks

This cabin had an amazing sunrise view. Location was good but the road was challenging for our highlander… I can’t imagine it in the winter if they get snow. The beds were ok, I’d recommend an upgrade and mattress padding and they need to get a better cleaning service. There was mold and a bandaid in the shower, cob webs on porch and the coffee maker was gross.

Cleanliness

For the most part, the property listing was very accurate. It was in a great location and the amenities were so fun! The outside needs some attention. The screens and railings need pressure washing. There is a significant amount of dog hair on the outside rug. We knew the cabin was dog friendly even though we don’t have a dog we decided to try it. However, when we checked it the smell of urine in the upstairs was so very strong. We bought deodorizer, disinfectant, and carpet cleaner which helped. The weather was nice so we were able to leave the loft windows open. The carpet desperately needs a shampoo to clean the dog urine and try to eliminate the smell. We probably won’t stay in a dog friendly cabin again. Other than those couple of things, the cabin was fantastic!

A secluded cabin close to Blue Ridge, Georgia

This cabin is the perfect secluded hideaway very close to Blue Ridge, Georgia and the surrounding adventures. This canin has everything one could want to accommodate your stay. The screened porch and swing was my favorite place to come into the prescence of our God and His creation each and every morning of our stay. Abundant wildlife can be seen each and everyday you stay here. Deer, squirrels, and many birds visit the blueberry bush outside the front entrance to this cabin. We will return!

Access information inaccurate

The directions to gain entry to the home were inaccurate. They provided a code number but said to follow it with an asterisk but there was no asterisk on the keypad. We had to call for assistance and had difficulty with phone connection. There was a lock box with a key that provided entry. The directions should be changed to reflect the actual lock situation.

Cozy cabin

Cabin location was very private and nice. We got in later than expected and had not had dinner. I think a welcome book with places that deliver or are near by to eat would have been helpful. We didn’t use the hot tub as the cover was destroyed and did not look like it had been cleaned recently. The dining table and outdoor furniture need a makeover. The basement offers games such as pool and darts. This was nice in the evening after a relaxing evening by the fire pit. The A/C and heat work well and the water gets hot very fast which was a plus. We were greeted with deer around the cabin on two different occasions. Very cool to see nature so close. Sunrises were beautiful to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great cozy getaway

Great cozy getaway. Nice proximity to experiences, i.e. Blue Ridge downtown area, horse back riding, and ziplining. We definitely plan to return to this property. Amazing sun rises in the morning on the porch.

Nice basic cabin in a good location

Cabin is nice and basic with a great view and deck. The inside is fairly sparsely furnished with not a lot of kitchen utensils. Overall, we loved the cabin except for seeing roaches throughout the home. There were a few large dead ones laying in the floor on arrival and then smaller ones that scurried in the bathrooms whenever you turned the lights on.

Family vacation

We loved the cabin. It was not as clean as it should be but thats fine. I clean residential homes so not everyone cleans like me. The gravel road leading up to the cabin was very rutty and I feel it should be either maintained better or paved. Other than that we had a great time and would love to rent the cabin again.

Great Cabin. Highly Recommend

We had such a wonderful weekend here. The cabin had everything we needed, and did not disappoint. It was in a secluded area, but not that far from town either. We would definitely stay again. The driving directions were excellent. I was able to use Google maps and it took the same route, but Waze definitely did not. However, you will need to download the Google maps for offline use because you will lose reception. The checkin process did not go smoothly. I did not receive a lock code with the check-in directions. I tried VRBO message...no joy. I called the Vacasa 800 number... no joy. Finally texted the Vacasa number the 800 number indicated and they responded immeditately. These procedures definitely need some work.
