Beautiful Cottage, Short Walk to Downtown! No Extra Management Fees

Limelight Cottage is a quaint 1943 downtown Blue Ridge cottage! Located on a quiet street, one block from the Black Sheep restaurant, it’s only a short walk to downtown’s shops, bars, restaurants and more! Conveniently located to other areas in the North Georgia mountains like Aska, Lake Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and McCaysville. Only a short drive to the Tri-State area, Horseshoe Bend Park, Toccoa River, Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino, and many orchards and wineries. So many fun activities to walk to: Escape Blue Ridge, The Art Center, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and much more! The home has been completely updated and renovated. Two master suites: a King bedroom with full bathroom (shower) and a Queen bedroom with full bathroom (tub/shower combo). Could potentially sleep additional kids in living area, if you bring your own air mattress or if someone wants to sleep on the sofa (not a pull out). Front porch offers a relaxing seating area to sit and talk while back patio has ample seating around the fire pit. Completely updated kitchen, including Keurig for coffee, so don't forget your pods! Enjoy the kitchen dining or eat in the sun room, overlooking the patio and backyard. Gas grill on back patio. Lots to see and do in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

This is our second time staying at and enjoying this property. It is convenient to downtown of warm enough to walk and only a short drive to other places. I enjoy cooking in the large kitchen. The place is always very clean and Tiffany always responds quickly to questions. I encourage you to also enjoy this property.

Everything was as advertised and worry free. Tiffany was great and helped me quickly with an item I left behind. The gas fire place was nice and the outdoor fire pit was awesome. It was a great location, we could walk to everything downtown and it was a short drive to nice hikes.

I really liked this property. The location was the only drawback as there wasn't exactly a straightforward way to walk downtown on a sidewalk and there was a fair amount of light at night from the government building across the street. Overall though it wasn't bad at all location wise, and this is out of the owner's control. Also be prepared for a bit of a hill to walk up and down.It was well stocked with essentials, but the ice maker had some issues so we had to either buy ice or make some which wasn't ideal, but certainly not a dealbreaker. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms functional. The outside sitting are was quite nice and parking was a breeze. Parking alone is essential if you are going downtown or taking the train.The AC did run a little warm and the "house rules" book indicates to keep it so, but otherwise not a problem.In the end it was a great stay and I hope to be back. I would recommend it to others.

Limelight Cottage is as pretty inside as it is outside. Top notch furnishings and kitchen appointments. Beautiful grounds. Its also thoughtfully stocked. We found everything needed for a marshmallow roast, a bundle of firewood, enough deck chairs for everyone to enjoy the back patio. There was ice in the freezer, a stocked Keurig and needed trash bags, various detergents and soaps. Communication with the owner was instantaneous! We found issue with a kitchen chair, sent pics to Tiffany and got an immediate response which was much appreciated. We spent a morning at Mercier Orchards, enjoyed treats at Bigfoot Biscuits, Door Dashed dinner from Royal Waffle King, raided Sweet Shoppe of the South and dined at an original Pizza Hut. During an evening walk we met Sheriffs Deputies at shift change. They posed for pictures with my granddaughter and asked if we were on the North Georgia Prison Tour! Wonderful, hard working souls!Downside includes the hills that made walking a real challenge for all of us - no matter the age. And parking in Blue Ridge is horribly expensive - 20 in one lot! 10 in another. But now we know and will be better prepared for a return visit.Thank you one and all!

everything was good except the bathroom floors were not clean. a suggestion to save on toilet paper would be adding some Kleenex boxes. and, for us older ones, handicapped bars by the tub and shower would be helpful. we were very pleased with the location and all the amenities. highly recommend the house. thank you.
