"We had a brilliant stay at Ritson Wharf. The hosts were great, informing us of places to eat and go to visit. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. It was decorated really tastefully to high standard. We would recommend it and hopefully will visit again !😊"

"Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful!But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days"

"The property was very clean, well equipped and quiet. It kept cool during a very hot and sunny week. It was comfortable although we found the double bed mattress was rather too firm. The lounge was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very useful bus service from the village. The village shop also handy."

"This property is great value for money. Could do with a little bit of deor makeover in living room , a bit dated (sorry).but this may put people off which is otherwise a great rental. Very comfortable beds, bedrooms were lovely and spacious and very clean. One bedroom at the top of the property has a great view of Latrigg and Skiddaw on your own private balcony with chairs and a table. Great for a coffee on a morning . Massive added bonus is your own parking space at the rear of the property....

"A true gem in the heart of Keswick! The property felt like home from home, but with the luxury and convenience you would expect from a holiday rental. There is free onsite parking, check-in is easy (the hosts actually contacted us on the day to say we could check-in earlier if we wanted to), and communication with the host was quick and helpful. "The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. "We have stayed at Millside Cottage many times before and it's a favourite of ours. Cottage is very homely and well equipped. It was great to see that the shower has been upgraded. One suggestion is that the new Wood burner is not that practical to use as there is no companion set, or at the very minimum an available poker. Having a fire at home, we know that sometimes you really need a poker to "re-adjust" locations of logs within the fire to ensure that they are sat correctly."
