I arrived at 8:30 and checked in. The door to my room was open with the inside lock handle adjusted to keep it open. That was uncomfortable for me because anyone could have entered before I got there. I have the key card and would appreciate a secure room when I arrive.

Terrible. Room was not clean. Bad smell. There was no pillow for sleeping, we had to ask for it. And even after asking, they give us some throw pillow.

I went to this location. There is no staff at this hotel. I'd had to go to the hotel next door to check in. I did went back to this hotel.. the room is horrid. The HEAT DOES NOT WORK. The bathroom was filthy and looked to be used linen folded up. Lamp shade busted. Carpets in lobby were wet. Looked to be **** on wall above bed. Ceiling molded and cracked paint feeling. Hallways and room smelled like dirty animals. Gave the room keep back to the desk at hotel next door. Also this is not the hotel I booked. I booked the adjoined hotel that I have stayed in the past. Not this one! Will not refund my money either

First of all the hotel didn’t have my reservation, when I got ahold of someone from Expedia they resent it and I finally got checked in after and hour and a half. Went to the room it was nasty and had roaches. I asked for a swap and was told that I would have to pay the difference at this point it was going on 2 in the morning so I said that was fine how much. The clerk blamed it on Expedia and Expedia blamed it on the clerk but I paid it because at this point it was 2:15 in the morning going over a 2 hr check in and I was having to get up at 7.

Room is clean and comfortable No coffee options in the room. Excellent television options. I needed an affordable stay during a weekend when Virginia Tech had a home game nearby. Other hotels double and triple there rates those weekends. This was a perfect no frills hotel with all you need for an overnight visit. Modest breakfast, service counter in the main building only. My last stay here was not noteworthy. They have improved on everything. I will consider them again as they have the best rates in Radford. The guest book overlooks everything Radford has to offer. Information is mostly about Blacksburg. Still, a worthwhile stop if you don’t need all the bells and whistles. Safe and comfortable. I’m glad I gave them another chance.

The place we stayed was not as advertised. It was a sperate small building off to the side. Rooms smelled funny, dirty, and there was damage to the ceiling. We got switched to another room before we had a chance to enter because of a "problem" with the original room we were given which set off alarms for us.

It will do, the guy at front desk was nice but wasn’t there when I got in around 9pm and took two calls to get him to the front. My stay was in the second building which is through a pretty empty parking lot and the keys are two Pizza Hut ads. A little dingy but no vermin or dirt immediately visible

I wish this app would let me upload photos. The place itself felt more like a haunted house than a hotel. Collapsing ceiling on overhang outside of our window. Cracks and water stains on ceilings and walls. Tape holdings remote for the broken TV together. Telephone didn't work. Sunk wouldn't drain. Just aweful.

They couldn’t locate our stay and we had to reserve an additional room. The front desk clerk was so lazy and refused to even look further in the system until we forced it. Still he couldn’t pull up reservation.

The furniture in the room was filthy! The sheets were old, but clean. The bathroom was clean. The staff that I encountered was very nice and helpful. I would not stay here again due to the outdated furniture, etc. in the room.

Sketchy at best

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. There is no staff at the actual hotel making it feel secluded and unsafe. It was dark and dingy with bugs in the hallways. The room itself wasn’t terrible the carpet seemed cleanish but the whole place gave me the icks. The room had 2 towels for 3 people, the pillows were terrible and the shower handle was broken. It was impossible to get the temperature right. We will not stay here or any other econo lodge in the future. Budget friendly shouldn’t mean total dump. It needs to be gutted and entirely redone. Do not stay here if you are a woman traveling alone. The front desk staff at the Quality inn were kind enough. The rest of the experience went downhill from there

1. The room key needed to be replaced because it did not work. 2. The television remote, held together with tape, only allowed turning the TV on and off. The TV was stuck on the Disney channel. 3. Either the waffle mix or the milk caused diarrhea. 4. Sign at front door said handicapped persons needing assistance should press button (doorbell), but there was no doorbell installed.

Things were broken, towels had stains, had to go to the quality in next door for the front desk, weeds grown up to my knees outside, hair dryer was broken, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke, but besides all that it was actually good. At least it’s a safe area, has comfortable beds, and was cheap. Really didn’t need much more than a good and cheap place to sleep so I was satisfied.

There was no reception in the Econo Lodge. I have to go the Quality Inn to check in and go back to Econo Lodge. The room I got has entire room was wet and carpet was soaked with water. The room was in the ground floor. I am very much disappointed.
