"Very peaceful location with very helpful staff. We’re very responsive to accommodation requests. The breakfast was great, multiple options from light to heavy. Just a short walk away from Aberdour Castle and a small beach."

"Location had a great view, about 35mins drive from Edinburgh waverly station. One less star because we found bugs in the toilet. Also, the toilet rolls/papers were poor quality which left us feeling uncomfortable to use. Make sure to get water bottles for your stay, because there’s none in the hotel. Breakfast buffet had limited options overall (less diverse). Bed was very comfortable. Overall a good stay and will definitely come back."

We booked a more expensive king bed room, was told on arrival we had the best room however when we got there the room was far from an upgraded room and looked more tired than their standard room and wasn’t a king bed in it, the staff very kindly moved us to another room which was far better however it was so hot and even with the fan supplied on all night and window opened, it was uncomfortably hot. "The Raeburn is located in a very lively neighborhood. The property and rooms have a very boho feel to them. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. My main complaint is that the rooms are right above their outdoor bar which on a Friday night was very loud until well past midnight. On a different occasion we may have visited the bar and enjoyed the vibe however we had a very early flight to catch and needed to go to bed earlier than midnight. I probably would not stay here again...

The first night we were in the room turned tv on for a bit the off and went out, came back and tv wouldn’t come on, called desk and guy came up and said cord was too short and came unplugged. At 06:50am the fire alarm in the room started shrieking for 3-4 minutes and the message came later saying false alarm. We also didn’t have any internet in our room when i rang down to reception I was told there was a fault which they were trying to fix, internet worked in the communal area’s 🤔 Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice both hot & cold options, we had dinner in the hotel which was also lovely & our granddaughter ate free."
