This was our second stay at this property and just as we experienced during our first stay, it was a perfect stay. The property is near the downtown area so either a short walk or a shorter drive makes the entire downtown easily accessible. There are restaurants within a short walk and the town of Black Mountain is simply wonderful. The cottage is well maintained and is all you could ask for with regard to amenities and location. It is perfect for a couple's stay. You should know that it is a one room cottage with a separate bathroom. The large room is divided into a sleeping, sitting and kitchen area. As I said, we find it perfect for a couple's stay.

Restful Weekend in Black Mountain

My wife and I had an excellent stay at this cottage for a long weekend getaway to the mountains of western North Carolina. As indicated in the title of the property listing, the location is fantastic. We wanted to explore both downtown Black Mountain as well as Montreat, and this property is perfectly situated for that. We also were able to walk into Black Mountain to enjoy the annual Sourwood festival and didn’t have to compete for parking. The owner was exceptionally friendly while also giving us privacy at the cottage behind her house. We hope to stay here again!

Great Cottage

Very convenient to all of our wants for our stay in Black Mountain. Brenda is a great hostess, so helpful when we needed assistance for my husband. She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well. May thanks to Brenda and her friend !

Deceiving

The advertising pictures for the property are misleading. The house is located behind a house on a dead end street. You can’t see the house from the street. You do not have a view of anything other than the back of another house. False advertisement at its best.
