"I'll start by saying that the rating I've given for this booking is based on the lack of level of service and professionalism provided by the owner, Mr Solih and his manager and son Mr Hamdhaan. "Extreme service! Amazing views, several excursions and activities like swimming with sharks, amazing people, and REDICULOUSLY AMAZING food. Our Butler Thaabish was extremely nice, helpful but not hovering! Theresia in the M6M (6 meters deep restaraunt) is the nicest on the island along with what id consider truly genuine! Recommend everyone to go!"

"Veli is an amazing resort to visit. I cannot say enough about the staff at Veli. They were all so attentive to our needs and did everything in their capabilities to keep us happy. I really appreciated the management cocktail party because it gave us a chance to meet everyone who makes Veli such a wonderful experience. Loved Rifau, Prem, Ruth, and all the others who made our experience possible. "

"Over water villa room was spacious with nice private pool, but the sewage system underneath the toilet was so poor that we had poo smell in the bathroom since day 1 to day 4, and resort didn't offer any room change. Handheld shower head quality was quite poor and water doesn't come out evenly. Before you use outdoor shower, suggest to turn on the water and run it for at least 1 full minute, because I nearly had brown colour water pouring over me, which was absolutely disgusting. "Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, however, I booked a superior room and got an interior room with views to a 1spm patio with all aircon engines. When asked for a change, they told me it was not available. Breakfast was basic but nice and tasty, as well as dinners. On check out I was asked by a gentleman to pay for the room and meals, yet everything was already paid for.. I did not mind, yet I found it very unprofessional. Sundbeds at 'bikini beach' are def a plus."

"The experience was ok, breakfast was good, they give you towels for the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, but the photos doesn’t match exactly as the ones advertised on hotels.com and not even similiar to the ones in google maps (it shows a swimming pool that doesn’t exist) it’s a few blocks from the prison and next to a mosque so prepare for the 430am prayers from really loud speakers, also there is doing a super loud construction of a building next door "

"We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella. The main attribute for the hotel however, is the staff. We met so many lovely members of staff, that I can't remember them all, but I would like to mention Azmeem,...

"What a wonderful stay we had. The hotel is right on the bikini beach so you step out of the hotel and BAM beach time. The hotel is clean and fresh and everyone has their role to play. Great snorkeling experience and felt safe and well looked after. Meal options are fab and the buffet dinner is a treat.
