Nestled between two connected lakes, this cozy cabin offers endless outdoor fun— hot tub for unwinding after a day of exploring numerous nearby trails.
Listen to the loons calling at dusk, paddle down the scenic channel, or relax around the quiet fire pit under the stars. With high-speed Wi-Fi, you can stay connected while working remotely from your nature retreat.
Inside, you’ll find a rustic-modern cabin featuring a small but functional bathroom with hot water, new shower, vanity, and toilet. Bedrooms are separated by curtains for a cozy, open-concept layout, and the living area is warm, inviting, and perfectly set up for your getaway.
Situated on 1.5 peaceful acres with friendly neighbors nearby, The Channel Cabin offers a balance of privacy and community. Whether you’re kayaking, riding ORVs, or soaking in the hot tub, you’ll experience the best of Michigan’s outdoors right outside your door.
Amenities include:

• 4 kayaks included – free of charge!

Guest notes:
The bathroom is compact but fully equipped (hot water, vanity, new shower, toilet).
Bedrooms are divided by curtains; the bathroom has a door for privacy.
One neighbor about 100 yards away with trees in between.
The path to the channel can be soft—bring sandals or boots.
No parties or events permitted.

Incredibly Peaceful Setting

We had a wonderful week at the Channel Cabin. We went out almost every day on the kayaks and enjoyed all that nature had to offer on the lakes. After a day of paddling the hot tub was such a lovely treat! On our rainy day we pulled the couch trundle into a bed and snuggled in for a relaxing movie day. We received kind and attentive communication from the host when we reached out with a question.

Awesome Getaway!

My husband and I stayed at this little cabin for a long weekend with our dog. We had a great time! The house is cozy and comfortable and we found it to be as described by the host. The hot tub is very nice and we also used the fire pit and grill. We absolutely loved the use of the kayaks, the channel and two lakes! We watched the sunset over the lake from the kayaks which was beautiful. Bring bug spray and expect to get a touch muddy but it is totally worth it! There is a nearby grocery store and hiking trails. We had an awesome trip!

Perfect Getaway

We spent 3 nights in this cozy cabin. If you need to get away for a while, this is the place for you. Perfect couple's getaway. AND, we could bring our dog.When we checked in, the host immediately asked if we needed anything and to contact him if we did.When we had one issue ( our fault, couldn't figure how to heat up the hot tub), Mike promptly texted us to solve it. It is very clean, comfy bed, all the basics provided. We definitely recommend it.

Not really as advertised

Definitely NOT waterfront. The area around this property is unkept, the other 'houses' are run down, and there is junk in many of the yards. This was advertised as waterfront, but there is zero water view unless you walk down a long path, part of which is walking on RR ties, to get to a channel. There are no doors on the bedrooms, only curtains that don't come close to the floor, so you don't get any privacy. The host was very responsive and the hot tub was nice.

Cozy cabin with spacious property! The cabin was just right for my partner and I, with gorgeous trails for our mountain dog to explore! The hot tub was perfect for the chilly weekend.

Girls Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay! We went out kayak fishing every day, loved using the hot tub, and just relaxed. It was really quiet and peaceful there. We did all our cooking there and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. The space was perfect for my friend and I. We would recommend this little cabin , and can’t wait to return!

Peaceful

This was a clean, peaceful place to stay. This was our “home away from home” for 3 nights. The perfect retreat after a day of hiking and riding the ORV through the trails. The landscape is pretty and full of nature with the sunset peeking through the trees as you soak in the hot tub! We really enjoyed our stay!
