"The hotel was beautifully situated right across from the railway station. The area isn't great with beggars, homeless and quite a lot of noise well into the early hours. Staff were great , really friendly. Room was very clean apart from a hair in the bath. No air conditioning which was a problem ..."

The Vermont Hotel Newcastle
"Perfect for an overnight stay in centre of Newcastle. Parking right outside is helpful too. Nice enough hotel with spacious rooms but top floor rooms are right by the train track. If you’re a light sleeper you’ll need ear plugs. Apart from that all great."

"A castle stay, this is perfect, good food. Beautiful bedrooms, lovely staff and fantastic building. I have been 6 times and I will go again, love the castle"
