Vacation

Unfortunately our pet became ill and we were not able to stay. The property was specscular,and communication was good with owner. I was offered another nighthowever i am not sure when i can get away again and have some reservations with travel with the pets at this time.

This cottage and the setting are beautiful and so peaceful.The cottage is on a river.The nature and wild life is incredible!Our grandkids came up with us and they had a great time.The cottage itself is very clean.It is very well maintained and decorated.The communication with the owner was great!Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.We hope to stay again soon😊

Secluded and beautiful

Our family of 4 enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The home, inside and out, had everything we needed to enjoy fun, quality time together. My husband and I loved our morning coffee while watching all of the birds from the comfort of the recliners. Quiet days of sunshine in the water, turned into starry nights around the bonfire. We took advantage of the large selection of board and card games. The kids enjoyed picking a DVD to watch as a family each night. Chet & Emil's is a must for a good, comforting home cooked meal. Wausau was close enough for a fun family day when the weather wasn't the greatest. I am so blessed and grateful we were able to spend our summer vacation at this beautiful slice of heaven here on earth. Thank you again, Jeanette, for having us at your cabin! Your communication and hospitality did not go unnoticed. We can't wait to come back and make more memories -The Bass'

Beautiful and peaceful

The house and property are so beautiful. It is a slice of heaven and wonderful break from the city. We had 4 elementary school kids and they loved it as well. The house is very nice and the kitchen is very well stocked. I would love to come back.

Family Ski Trip to Granite Peak

My family stayed here while skiing over at Granite Peak. We had a great time and this place was perfect. Communication between the property manager and myself was top notch. I loved the creek behind property.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

My family loved this little vacation. The kids played outside all day and we were even able to bring our family dog to splash around in the river with us! It was a perfect way to relax before school starting again. My family is already asking me to book it again next summer. Host couldn't have been more accommodating. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Peaceful cabin on the river

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for for a short family getaway. It was cozy, peaceful and away from it all. The river is full of trout and the yard full of wildlife. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and the stand alone screened-in porch was a fun addition for working puzzles and eating dinner without the pesky mosquitoes bothering us. Jeanette was extremely helpful and responsive. It’s a great place to stay!

Cozy cabin in the north

Such a lovely place. Peace and quiet; perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. Cabin is equipped with everything needed, bird and wildlife watching from the living room window included. Close by are hiking and skiing opportunities. Communication with Jeanette was easy from the get go. Thanks a lot for letting us enjoy this cozy cabin.

Tranquil

Where do I begin! Our family had such an amazing time. Absolutely beautiful place. It was my husband and I, and our two children, 7 and 9 years old. My favorite part was waking up early, sitting outside and listening to all the sounds, especially the birds. The wildlife is incredible. So tranquil. We made our dinners on the campfire and ate in the enclosed outdoor space, it was so much fun. We fished, explored the property, kids even floated on rafts. We also went to a nearby ice cream shop. The cabin was immaculate, and don’t worry about forgetting anything, because they have anything you could ever need right there. I’m pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve slept all through the night in years! From the beds, to the home, to the outdoor space, it was very comfortable. Thank you so much for sharing your family home with not just us, but with everyone. We had the best time.

Obviously someone’s well-loved home. We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived.

We have stayed in many VRBO properties. Most extremely modern beach homes. This property in the woods is very cozy and secluded. Saw 5 species of woodpecker, river otter, squirrels (including a rare black one), countless deer. Can see the trout when standing on the footbridge over the river. The house was very clean and had many personal items tucked in all over. We came in October and used the fire pit, inside fireplace, and gas grill. The owners leave clear instructions on check in and out. Will definitely try to rent this place again!

Amazing cabin on productive trout stream

AMAZING home on private land, BEAUTIFUL trout stream in back yard. We caught Brook Trout, and walked up the stream for beautiful views and more fishing. Owners must be craftsman because the home and all the landscaping is five star quality. This is the best property to rent in central WI ...I've rented 50 VRBO's in the state, nothing comes close. Food for pick up is 5 miles away. Jeannette is so accommodating with everything, but we didn't need anything :)

Relaxing Getaway

Ery charming, cozy and well kept property. Our family of 5 stayed here with plenty of space for everyone. All of us enjoyed the quiet and amazing view of the river. The bird watching was absolutely amazing.
