  • Take a dip into the lovely Mediterranean sea before breakfast!
    This is a water's edge, spacious, stylishly furnished apartment commanding magnificent views of the historical Malta Grand Harbour. Accommodation consists of a spacious living room (equipped with TV, DVD, stereo and wireless internet connection) and adjoining dining area. Large doors from the living room and dining area open onto the balcony, offering splendid 180 degree views of the Malta Grand Harbour. The open-plan luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. Sleeping accommodation consists of a master bedroom (double bed) with bathroom en suite, a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. The apartment is child-friendly, with various necessities for a baby such as cot, baby changer and baby chair. A car parking space is included in the rental.

    Vittoriosa (also known as 'Birgu') forms part of the 'three cities' offering quality restaurants, wine bars, museums and an authentic Maltese environment, all within walking distance of the apartment.

    Transportation: If you intend to rent a car, a parking space is available in the garage underlying the apartment.

    Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Vittoriosa to Valletta from where buses leave to all over the island. A very pleasant way of reaching Valletta is by water taxi or by Ferry bus, both within walking distance of the apartment.

This apartment is perfectly located to explore Valletta and enjoy the best views of the Grand Harbour. History is literally on the doorstep in Birgu (definitely worth exploring) and Valetta by water bus or taxi.

One of the best places we have stayed! The apartment with its beautiful views of the harbour was like a serene sanctuary after navigating the crowds in Valletta. Francis met us upon our arrival and gave us the lay of the land so we did not need to figure it out on our own. As a tip for travellers when using Bolt, you should arrange for a pick up out on Grand Harbour street and drop off at Fort Saint Angelo as the apartment is a little difficult for taxi’s to find. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Communication from Connie prior to our stay was excellent and Francis being on hand to greet us made finding the location and the check in process much easier (and we were able to check in a little early which was really helpful). Apartment was perfectly clean and well equipped. The view from the sunny balcony each morning was glorious and we particularly enjoyed the local Birgu area and taking the water taxis to Valetta to explore the local history.

Fabulous property

Fabulous property in a great location. Close to bars and restaurants and the little boats over to Valletta. Hosts really helpful at check in and offered support if needed Would definitely stay again if I went back

My husband, teenage daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at the apartment in Vittorioso. The views from the balcony were gorgeous overlooking Valletta and the Grand Harbour with cruise ships coming and going and even a special viewing of the fireworks one night. Connie’s father Francis was especially helpful when our cab driver left us in an incorrect location in the village. He kindly met us and drove us to the apartment, showed us around and even supplied some supplies to get us started in the morning after our late arrival. We also greatly appreciated the late checkout which allowed us to see a bit more of the area before leaving for Gozo. There is lots to see and do nearby in the village as well as wonderful restaurants and walks along the water. We took advantage of the small traditional boats to get to and from Valletta mostly but Bolt was easy and quick as well. It was a pleasure to return back to the apartment in a quieter area and sit back with a glass of wine on the balcony with that beautiful view each evening. Highly recommended!

Great location

The property was very well located, large and quiet, no passing traffic. The views from the balcony and lounge room really made our stay.Well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses. Milk, bread and cheese on arrival was a nice touch.Only suggestion for improvement would be upgrading the linen on the beds.

Un séjour familial idyllique à Malte !Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans cet appartement et nous ne pouvons que le recommander chaleureusement.Les points forts :Emplacement & Vue : L'appartement est idéalement situé. La vue est tout simplement splendide, un vrai bonheur au réveil !Confort & Propreté : Le logement était d'une propreté irréprochable et parfaitement équipé. Il y a tout le nécessaire (et même plus) pour se sentir comme à la maison.Communication exemplaire : Un immense merci à nos hôtes. Nous avons rencontré un petit souci avec le lave-vaisselle et leur réactivité a été exemplaire. Ils ont fait preuve d'une grande écoute et d'une réelle empathie, trouvant rapidement des solutions pour que ce désagrément ne gâche en rien nos vacances.C'est si rassurant de tomber sur des hôtes aussi professionnels et humains. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Ideal in every way!

Everything from earliest communication to amenities to the location and advice about local transportation was perfect. Four friends had loads of space, and the swim spot just out front was such a nice bonus.

wonderful location and amenities

having such close access to the water (swimming in the mornings) and hearing the waves all the time, was amazing. fantastic hosts and very comfortable well-appointed accommodations. a great place to be in malta if you like some quiet.

We loved our stay. The check in was made easy by the hosts father who met us upon arrival. We found the refrigerator stocked with some essentials which was a really nice touch. The apartment was clean and just as described, we enjoyed the balcony, and the views were spectacular. The swimming area in front was clean and refreshing and was enjoyed by locals and residents alike. The location was excellent and was within walking distance to Birgu square (bus stop, restaurants, pharmacy and provisions) waterfront restaurants, museums, forts and Valletta was a short water taxi/ferry away. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location to Explore

Great apartment with amazing views right next to Fort San Angelo. Underground onsite parking was a huge plus. Apartment was clean, bright and inviting. Great for family vacation. Close to the water taxi over to Valetta.

Water’s Edge is the perfect apartment for a mature family and friends. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with local Maltese culture. The apartment had all the amenities and comforts of a home with spectacular views of the waterfront. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable home away from home. The best part for us was the private swimming area below the apartment! Highly recommend!
