Great concept, horrible execution!
Room smelled of smoke, had to purchase air fresheners to try to cover it up. Overall humidity in the room was extreme, towels felt damp even upon arrival. Air flow in sleeping area was a ceiling fan and a floor fan trying to pull cool air from bathroom area. A/C condensation dripped from ceiling onto floor by sink and on your head if you stood by sink for more than a couple of seconds. A speakeasy was advertised in the room, it was still under construction. Full garbage bags were in the parking lot. TV had no sound, could not get it to reset. Door code didn’t work but the contact at emergency number did tell us where to find key. Had to level mini fridge so it would not wobble when opening. Lighted mirror above vanity did not work making sink area darker than preferred. Bedding needs to be upgraded so that fitted sheet actually stays on the mattress. The room we were in appeared to possibly be only room completed because there were no other guests. While it was nice to have the place to ourselves, the wording on the booking website made it sound like we needed to act fast because place was almost completely booked. I guess there was truth in that statement if there is only one completed room. On a positive note, the outdoor sitting area and location of property were great. It was a holiday weekend but we still expected more for the price we paid.
