"What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look...

"Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. "

"Cabin was very nice and clean as described. There was plenty of outdoor activities but also clod to places to go out to eat. We had a fun and relaxing getaway. Would highly recommend this place. "

"This was such a cozy retreat for us. A glimpse back in time. Wonderful hosts with good communication. House was very clean and interesting. Beds comfortable and lots of blankets and linens. We just needed some extra sleeping space for our near by family Thanksgiving, but we ended up getting so much more!"

"This place is great. All the essentials you need in the kitchen. Quite neighborhood. Plenty of room and parking. The master bathroom has a rainfall shower. Very clean "

"We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It’s a bit of a drive from any of the towns, but blissfully quiet and very peaceful. And a lovely drive! Came with my partner, nephew and dogs and we all loved it. The steps up to the house were a little tough for my small dog, and required a little balance with our suitcases, but nothing we couldn’t manage. The cabin is quaint and cozy with all the basics, and our host was so kind and accommodating. I’d absolutely recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway! "

"We made last minute changes to our July off-road plans. This meant finding a new spot over a holiday weekend that allowed dogs ASAP. BJ quickly responded to my Facebook post about the opening and was very welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Evarts! We loved the location to the trails! Excited to come back for Fall Crawl with our group! "

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The location is good and the owner is great. Kim is very responsive. We had an issue with the temperature in the place and Kim addressed it quickly and attentively; and it was resolved. Even my dog was comfortable staying there. He usually barks when we leave him alone (crated), but he didn't while there. "

"What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! "

"We stayed here as my son was getting married. It accommodated our entire family. It was clean and the owner stayed in touch with us the entire trip to make sure we had everything we needed. It was comfortable and conveniently located to Kingsport downtown area. We plan on staying again if we are ever in the area. "
