"My family of four (two boys 9 and 7) spent Monday-Friday and had a great time. The home is bigger than the photos make it seem - the bedrooms are large and the living space is plenty for 4-6 people. The home was very clean, the hosts were extremely responsive, and they have every water toy you could possibly imagine. Highly recommended the farmers market on Wednesdays as well as the ice cream shop (The Frozen Spoon). We would definitely stay again! "

"Relaxing, quiet week. Renting the pontoon was the best decision we made. When you rent a VRBO you never know what you will run into. Below is information that I would have found helpful to know. The front of the house is a 4 season porch. It isn't very deep so it wasn't somewhere to hang out but it was great to use for our extra stuff and for coming and going! Always able to find some some shade near the water. Loved that there was a little sand area for those sand lovers but nice you...

"Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lake cabin. The fishing off the dock was absolutely fantastic—we caught countless sunfish along with several impressive bass, catfish, and perch. The cabin itself was charming and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed (and more).The only minor issue we encountered was the shower, which was a bit too small to use comfortably—though we made it work by using the handheld sprayer. "We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there...

"This was a perfect cabin for our family! Our pre-teen/teen boys loved the lake, access to the boats, yard games, and having their own little space in the boat house. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The owners definitely went the extra mile. Also only a quick 15 minutes to St.Cloud was a plus. The neighbors were also very friendly, which you don’t always find at a vacation rental. We will be back! "

"We had a family reunion of 14 of us from Colorado, Oregon, Wisconsin and Minnesota and we had a great time at this beautiful place. The gourmet kitchen was a huge blessing as we ate all our meals at home during our stay and it allowed several of us to work together preparing the meals.We also loved fishing from the dock and using the canoe and kayaks provided. The kids were thrilled to catch a variety of fish. One of my sons also brought along his boat and it was so convenient to have his boat...

"Amazing long weekend at Julia Lake. The cabin is just as described and the hosts are fantastic. We enjoyed coffee on the dock, kayaking, bonfires, and exploring the surrounding area. Pam and Leigh were friendly, helpful and gave great advice as to where to get a good meal, and glass of wine. We will definitely be staying at this cute and cozy cabin again and recommending others to as well."

"My family and I had an amazing weekend. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. Very clean and organized. My kids loved all the kids toys and inflatable water tubes/paddle boards already there which made packing that much easier. We also loved that we could dock our own boat right on the lake so we could take it out anytime we wanted. The water closer to shore was weedy and a bit mucky but got better further out so we could float and swim out there. Host was very responsive and so...

"Nice quaint place to stay. Karen was a wonderful host, and was willing to assist us with a special request. I would tell anyone staying at this property to stay a couple days. Very unique area. We were even luck to catch a fireworks show set off by the neighbors! "
