"Our stay would have been more enjoyable if we would have been able to use the lake. Vintage is accurate description right down to the dust mites in the bed,I have a bad allergy to them and ended up in Urgent care Sunday of our stay to get treatment. It was quiet and relaxing would like to rent again but do to my allergy to camper will be unable to"

"Nice location, clean, well-equipped kitchen. Great views of the lake both inside and out. We just needed some extended time to relax… and we had everything we needed. The owners, Patrick and Anna, are friendly, and readily available to answer questions if needed. We loved Willies on the Water, Frozen Scoop for ice cream, and visiting the nearby wildlife preserve where we saw many birds. We brought our bikes and the owners told us about a nearby bike path that we enjoyed. We decided not to...

"Lovely old cabin on a quiet, shallow lake. We liked the privacy even though the property manager was right next door. Cabin was well appointed with everything we needed for or 3 night stay. Only minor drawbacks that were not noted in the description were: * access to the lake - stairway was long and steep, no space on the dock for our boat, * had to haul luggage, coolers, etc. across ~80 yds of lawn to get to the cabin (and back, of course!)"

"If you're looking for a quaint, vintage lakeside cabin like the one your grandparents stayed at and want to be serenaded to sleep by loons, this is your place. A pileated woodpecker visited the adjacent woods in the morning. The cabin's creaky floorboards let you imagine the generations that have enjoyed themselves here. Excellent communication from the owner. A very restful night."

"This place is adorable and just what we were looking for! Very quiet and peaceful with great views. The kids spent the majority of the weekend fishing off the dock and had some good luck. The place was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with just about any dish or utensil you need. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here. Would love to stay again! "

"The place is everything that it says ! The inside is decorated so cute and it’s very spacious for a large group . It’s very convenient for a short uber ride to Broadway . Our only complaint was the floors weren’t cleaned very well they were sticky there were also other sticky areas that were missed by the cleaning staff . But over all we were happy with the place . "

"it was a really nice place, it was really clean and spacious, and they had a lot provided which was nice, overall there was good communication but there were some things I feel like Should have been communicated a lot sooner, there was also alot of seaweed by the dock so we couldn’t really go swimming, but overall I had a really great time!!"

"We stayed here for a long weekend with our 3-year-old and had a really nice time! Property was clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. We spent a lot of time just hanging out looking at the lake, canoeing, and attempting to fish off the dock. We really liked all the birds and wildlife to see right there on the property. Kitchen had all the basic gear you'd expect, although you'll want to bring your own spices, oils, etc. "

"In town for our son's wedding. Not being from Minnesota, we had no idea of town names. Manor on the River was an absolute perfect for our stay. Champlin was close to all events and there are stores close by for any items not packed. The house itself is simply stunning. We had 14 people, including 2 little ones, and everyone had plenty if room. The park across the street was an added bonus. "An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO."

"Clean and updated property. Although it states non smoking the property entrance and hallway had a strong smoke smell. Also the air conditioning was not installed this past weekend. It was humid on Friday night being on the 2nd floor but the rest of the weekend was fine due to lower than normal temperatures. Lots of extra/hidden fees which doubled the price. Only stayed here for a family wedding so not many options. Host was very responsive. "
