"Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!"

Listing made it sound as if we had the entire house; not true. Other people upstairs and we heard lots of clomping around."

"Property is on the main road sandwiched between another small house and a gravel driveway. In addition, out your living room window is a parking lot full of dry-docked lobster boats and several industrial buildings. Not pretty. It was dirty around the place. The bedroom also needs a fan above the bed. There is no moving air in that room! You cannot open the window as the street noise will pour in. Put in a ceiling fan! "This stay was outside of my comfort zone as someone who doesn’t camp. The RV was fine for the most part, but a little tired and the toilet and the blinds were not the cleanest. The power was out for a few hours which can’t be controlled, but Shannon assured me he would hook up a generator if it remained out. It did come back on in the evening thankfully. I was told I was the only guest staying in an RV until the weekend so it was just Shannon the owner’s family, and I. Half of my shower was...
